Most of us work for the weekend — two whole days of freedom. But being free from responsibilities and cares doesn't mean you shouldn't be mindful. It is in this frame that Google presents a meditational ASMR video chock full of head-tingling advice on how to move data from your old phone to a new Pixel device. Because we really needed this.
Weather apps are a dime a dozen on the Play Store, and since so few offer screenshots of their widgets, it can be tough to know what they actually bring to the table. This is why I took it upon myself to compile a list of the better weather apps out there that offer useful widgets, going so far as to take screenshots of these widgets so that everyone can see exactly what they're getting. This is a running list that is continually updated, and today I've added four new listings for 2021.

Welcome to the roundup of the best new Android applications and live wallpapers that went live in the Play Store or were spotted by us in the previous two weeks or so. Today's roundup is sponsored by Deplike, a fantastic amp and effects tool for guitarists. This week I have the official arrival of the OnePlus Store app for the US and Canada, a dietary diary that offers an adorable mascot, and an interesting tool for testing wifi range. This year hasn't been kind to Stadia, but Google can rest assured at least one major publisher is on its side. Earlier this week, Square Enix brought its hit JRPG Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age to the cloud-streaming platform, and its brand-new RPG-shooter Outriders is set to release next month. Stadia fans can look forward to another major title this fall, as Life is Strange: True Colors plans to go live on September 10th.
We've just learned that Boss Team Games will be bringing an all-new Cobra Kai fighting game to mobile. It's called Cobra Kai: Card Fighter, and as you can guess, it's a card-based fighting game. It's being developed by Gamaga and is already available for pre-registration. The game will be free-to-play (as if there was any question), and it will be officially released on March 19th.
Live Caption is one of the most underrated features to come to Android in years. Whether you're hard of hearing, deaf, in a loud environment, or forget to bring your headphones, it automatically transcribes any audio coming from your phone for you. We long knew that Live Caption is on its way to Chrome as well, and you could even activate it via a flag in Chrome 88 already. And today, Google has announced that the feature is now available for everyone.
Square Enix has announced that it will bring the Just Cause series to Android with the release of a free-to-play shooter titled Just Cause: Mobile. The game is slated for a 2021 release, though it will not be handled by Avalanche Studios (the devs behind the console and PC games) but will instead be developed by a new team led by Square Enix.
Last year's OnePlus 8 Pro was the company's first model to support wireless charging, and they did it with a splash, adding support for a proprietary 30-watt "Warp" charger. According to leaks on the upcoming refresh, the 9 Pro will boost that to 50 watts, presumably speeding up the wireless charge rate even more.
