Indie adventure game Summer Catchers is finally coming to Android (Update: Out now)

It has just come to my attention that FaceIT's stylish indie adventure game Summer Catchers is finally available for pre-registration on the Play Store. Back in July of 2019, the game was published on Steam by Noodlecake Studios and has racked up many positive reviews on the platform over the last six months. The game plays like an auto-runner, though it also offers a story-driven experience, so expect something a lot more polished than the standard auto-runners on the Play Store.

3D puzzle adventure The House of Da Vinci 2 is out on the Play StoreIf you like The Room, you'll probably also like The House of Da Vinci

The House of Da Vinci is a well-received, crowd-funded puzzle adventure game that lets you take the role of Leonardo da Vinci's promising apprentice. After your master's disappearance, you have to comb through his house to find clues on what happened to him. Four years after the original title, the Slovakian indie studio Blue Brain Games has now released the aptly-named follow-up on the Play Store, The House of Da Vinci 2. It follows mostly the same successful mechanics from the first title, only this time, you're going to travel through time to observe a "series of mysterious events that led to the greatest discovery in human history."

The Galaxy Z Flip's glass display fails at almost every level in JerryRigEverything's torture test (Update: Teardown)Durability test pokes holes in the phone's screen, polymer "protective layer" not enough to save it

Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip was billed as the first folding phone with a glass display, but thanks to a "protective layer," the top-most surface you actually interact with is only as durable as a plastic screen protector. In a testing video published earlier today, Zack Nelson of JerryRigEverything showed off how easily the phone's display scratches, in the end, literally poking holes in it.

TCL prototype leak appears to reveal phone with slide-out screen

Folding phones are so hot right now, but there are still many Android OEMs that haven't taken a crack at the idea. TCL showed off an early prototype of a Galaxy Fold-like device at CES earlier this year, and now it looks like the company might be working on something much different.

Since JerryRigEverything's Zach took his picks to the Galaxy Z Flip, there's been a lot of debate around the web concerning Samsung's claim that it's using an ultra-thin layer of glass in the folding phone's display. Thanks to a new teardown by PBKreviews on YouTube, we now have confirmation that there is indeed a sheet of flexible glass in the Z Flip, but it's not as durable as you might hope.

Every once in a while, a new mobile app becomes popular seemingly overnight, akin to the rise of Flappy Bird or Trivia Crack.
