Huawei's Mate X is a $2600 foldable phone that looks like it's from the future

By holding its event ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) for the first time in a few years, Samsung ensured maximum hype surrounding the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Fold. Some of that hype may have died down once the design and the $1,980 price tag came to light, but the general vibe is that it's nice to have an exciting new form-factor in what has become a relatively stale industry. As the press conferences from the other major tech companies get underway here in Barcelona, we expect to see a few more devices with flexible screens, and the first of those to be unveiled is the Huawei Mate X.

Possible Google phone codenames Bonito and Sargo pop up in latest ARCore update [APK Teardown]

ARCore updates generally just bring support to a set of both old and new Android devices, but every once in a while we're treated to something pretty unexpected. In the latest version, new profiles can be found for one, or maybe even two currently unreleased Google devices. The first of these devices bares the Bonito name, originally expected to be a mid-range Pixel phone. There's also a brand new fish-themed codename that may represent an entirely new device: Sargo.

The Huawei Mate 20 X has a colossal 7.2" display with a waterdrop notch and a 5,000mAh battery

During a live-streamed event in London today, Huawei announced its new flagship series of Mate 20 phones. While we were fully expecting the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, the company surprised us somewhat with a "one more thing" type announcement: the Mate 20 X.

At first glance, it looks much like the regular Mate 20, with a waterdrop notch and minimal chin. Then you find out the size of the OLED FHD+ (2244 x 1080) display — an absolutely massive 7.2 inches diagonally. It's basically a Nexus 7 with no bezels.
