When it comes to device skins, dbrand is my go-to company. After going hands-on with some of the company's Nexus 6 offerings back in February, I was extremely impressed with the quality - both materials and precision cutouts. I highly recommend checking them out if you're interested in giving your gadgets a new look. (And if you missed out on the Nexus "X" symbol promotion, well, I'm sorry.)
It's been about a month since HTC said that the One M7 GPE's Android 5.1 update was coming soon, but better late than never, right? It appears that the rollout has begun and we've got your OTA download link below.
It's worth noting that the update is only 5.1, not 5.1.1. This is par for the course right now as no Nexus or GPE with a cellular radio has an official Android 5.1.1 build yet. Read More
Like a number of other device manufacturers, HTC releases some of its apps into the Play Store. From there, HTC devices can receive updates more quickly than waiting for over-the-air firmware updates. And while we have covered some of the ways that camera hasn't exactly delivered, HTC has continued sending updates to their new flagship with improvements. The latest of these is not a firmware update, but rather an update to the camera app through the Play Store. It brings raw support, something HTC promised when they announced the phone. Read More
The HTC One rocked the Android landscape with a groundbreaking design. Then it got a mild evolution with the M8, and now it looks kind of the same again with the M9. Some people think it still looks great, while others are beyond bored with the design. It's not particularly easy to cough up an entirely new look, so the manufacturer has come up with something else.
It's going to stick stylish engravings on limited edition phones. Read More
