Update 7/7/12: The deal is back, this time at Daily Steals Last Call.
With sales expected to tip over 10 million units next month, and release dates being pushed back (or split) because of "overwhelming demand," Samsung's Galaxy SIII may just be the most sought-after Android device to date. Those still looking to grab the unlocked GSM version of the device are in luck today – DailySteals.com is offering the device for $599.99, a significant discount over the phone's normal retail price. If a mid-range LTE phone on Verizon Wireless is on your to-buy list, then you've likely considered the new Droid Incredible 4G LTE. Its somewhat of a low-end One variant, but keeps that slick red and black color scheme of the Incredible line. While the display and resolution are clearly the weakest link in this device, everything else under the hood is sure to zoom along nicely:
- 4-inch super LCD qHD display
- 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ S4 processor
- 1 GB RAM
- 8 megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash, BSI, f/2.2 and 28 mm lens
- Front-facing camera for video chatting with friends and family
- Mobile Hotspot capable to share 4G LTE connection with up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices
- Support for up to 32 GB microSD™ memory card
- 1,700 mAh lithium ion removable battery
- Sense 4.0 on top of ICS
You could walk into a Verizon store and pick one of these up right now for $150. Read More
If the combination of summer heat and apocalyptic storms have you feeling a little down, Madfinger Games is here to help. Starting today, you can get Shadowgun and Samurai II on sale for $0.99.
Shadowgun is an amazing third-person shooter with great graphics and surprisingly good voice acting. Read More
With Samsung's Galaxy SIII (finally) hitting Sprint a few days ago, those looking to snatch a unit already have a few deals to take advantage of. The best of them (so far) is from RadioShack Wireless. RadioShack is currently offering the Galaxy SIII (in its Pebble Blue, 16GB form) for just $149.99 for those opening a new account or upgrading their current device.
Both Amazon and Wirefly are offering the same device for the slightly higher (yet still discounted) price of $179.99 for new accounts and upgrades. Read More
If you've been waiting to grab yourself a shiny new EVO 4G LTE, now's the perfect time - Amazon Wireless just lowered the handset's price to a mere $49.99, provided you're a new customer or you're adding a line.
As you can see, Sprint's LTE warrior will still cost you $149.99 if you're upgrading, just as previously.
Hit up the source to order one if you're interested; if you're not yet sure, have a look at our review of the device first. Read More
If you missed out the last time OfficeSuite Pro 6 was on sale for $0.99, you can stop being sad now - it's back on sale until July 4th! OfficeSuite Pro is my personal favorite office suite for Android, as its blend of excellent features, intuitive and easy to use interface, and cloud storage integration (yes, I did quote myself there), make it as top-notch of a choice that you'll find on the Store. The EA titles that went on sale earlier today appear to not be the extent of the deals to be had on Google Play today. Without much warning, the Longest Day sale is underway bringing you a plethora of solid apps, games, music, and books for vastly reduced prices. Longest Days in this case likely refers to the summer solstice; the longest day of the year. For those of you without a calendar handy, that's tomorrow. Read More
If you've been waiting on the opportune moment to grab some new games for your mobile, now may be the time to jump on that: EA just dropped the prices of both Mass Effect: Infiltrator and NBA Jam down to $0.99. Previously, those games would've set you back $7 and $5, respectively; that's a pretty decent savings!
We're not really sure what the reason is, or why these two games were singled out, but we're also not going to question a good thing. Read More
While the Galaxy S III pre-order frenzy started early last week, we've yet to see the device going for anything less than retail price. Now, however, Amazon Wireless and Target Mobile both have the AT&T variant for $150 with an updgrade. Normally we see the best deals reserved for folks looking to sign a new contract, so this is definitely the exception to that rule.
Wirefly has also joined the game and started accepting pre-order for the Sprint variant of the device, albeit for the slightly higher price of $180 for both new contracts and upgrades. Read More
Amazon has just lowered the price of the RAZR MAXX to a staggeringly-low $99 for new customers (it's $199 for upgrades). Check it out here. This is by far the lowest price we've seen on this device (previous low was $149), so if you were waiting for it on the cheap, now's the time to grab it.
