Motorola (sort of) returns to the tablet market with the AT&T 'Moto Tab'

The 2011 Motorola XOOM is one of the most legendary Android devices of all time, even if it wasn't a very good product. Motorola and Google went big with a Super Bowl commercial, and it was the first device to run the tablet-tailored Android 3.0 Honeycomb. It was perhaps the first real iPad competitor, but the high initial price and lack of tablet-optimized apps meant it never really took off. Later that year, Motorola released an incremental update, and that was the last tablet Motorola ever made... until today.

Dual-screen ZTE Axon M is now available to order, exclusively from AT&T

In one of the most left-field phone releases of the year, ZTE recently announced the foldable, dual-screen Axon M. Leaks had already spoiled the surprise somewhat, but when David got it in his hands he was actually rather more impressed by the phone than he expected to be. Today, the device is available to order, and it's being sold exclusively through AT&T in the US.

Senior VP of Device and Network Services Marketing (snazzy title) for AT&T, Kevin Petersen, thinks the phone could be a success. “By letting you do 2 things at once, the ZTE Axon M is the perfect combination of wireless and entertainment and we’re thrilled to offer it exclusively at AT&T.”

Four LG phones added to Amazon Prime Exclusive lineup: G6, G6+, Q6, and X Charge

Mobile phones are ridiculously expensive these days, and consumers are often backed into a corner by carriers and retailers. There is a way of bringing the cost down, however, so long as you don't mind a few lock screen adverts and offers. That's the essence of Amazon Prime Exclusive Phones, which can be bought for considerably less than retail price, with the caveat being that Amazon kind of owns your lock screen, and can use it to try to sell you things.

AT&T announces its first '5G Evolution' mobile hotspot, goes on sale October 27

Here we see the wild NETGEAR Nighthawk router in its natural habitat - the beautiful forests of the northwestern United States. He's a massive beast, towering over the other woodland animals, but he's a gentle giant. You can see him hunting for fish in the local river - truly one of the most majestic inhabitants of the forest.

Oh wait, that's not a real picture? Wow AT&T, way to be deceitful with the product pictures. Anyways, the apparently not-massive NETGEAR Nighthawk mobile hotspot was announced today by AT&T.

[Update: T-Mobile also has it now] LG V30 is now available to order in the US from Verizon or AT&T

The LG V30 is one of this year's most anticipated flagship phones, and with good reason. It's a clear upgrade on the excellent LG G6 from earlier in the year, and it's set to go toe-to-toe with the S8, Note8, and Google's incoming Pixel 2 XL (also made by LG). The phone already started shipping last month in its native South Korea, which is the norm for LG devices, but now it's possible to order one in the US through Verizon or AT&T.
