[New Game] The Respawnables Exits Limited Beta, Brings Free Multiplayer Shooting To The Play Store

When it comes to video games, all soldiers are expendable. But when it comes to online multiplayer shooters, they're also respawnable. That's right, there's no ambiguity in Zynga's latest title. The Respawnables is an action-packed shooter with pick-up-and-play multiplayer modes. This game was in a limited beta, but now it's found its way into the Play Store, and it doesn't cost a dime.

Eden To Green Opens Up On The Play Store, Now Available To Tree-Huggers Everywhere

After an initial release in Canada, Zynga's latest attempt to addict millions of mobile gamers is now available to the greater Play Store. Eden to Green fits broadly in the tower defense genre, with a variety of flowers fighting off an army of invading machines. (So it's like Terminator meets The Happening.) The game is a free download, though device support seems a bit spotty: my ancient HTC Incredible shows as compatible, while my nearly-new Galaxy Note 8.0 does not.

[New Game] Zynga Brings 'Family Friendly Weirdness' To The Play Store With Clay Jam

Partnered with Fat Pebble, Zynga officially launched Clay Jam for iOS and Android today, bringing to market a game made entirely of clay. Charged with the mission of saving the land of Clay Jam, players control a ball of clay called Fat Pebble as he rolls down hills collecting clay, avoiding obstacles, and maneuvering about using a "gouge control system."

Clay Jam, which has plenty of hills to roll down and unique hand-built monsters to encounter, is free to play, with optional in-app purchases to "save Clay Jam even sooner." The real story, though, is the impressive thoughtfulness and craftsmanship behind the game.
