LG's leaked Android 10 skin is still oppressively bright, but at least there's dark mode

If you're a long-suffering LG smartphone owner who just wished that the company would just take a little bit more care of its software... let's just say we've resigned to a level of masochism. Updates are slow to come out and the UI itself contains plenty of outdated motifs. But worse news may be to come as some purported screenshots of the upcoming LG UX 9.1 on top of Android 10 have been uploaded to a South Korean forum.

There's one for the V50 and one for the sorta all-new G8X that just debuted at IFA 2019. [Update: Higher-res image] Sprint's LG V50 ThinQ reminds you about its 5G capabilities with an unsightly yellow logo on the back

LG's last few V-series phones have been pretty similar to each other, but it looks like the upcoming V50 is going to have something special up its sleeve: 5G. A leaked photo of the Sprint V50 from Evan Blass reveals that the phone will have 5G capabilities, and given the giant yellow logo on the back, it isn't shy about it.
