Galaxy S10e leaks show off the size of the hole-punch and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor

The design of the Galaxy S10e is no secret thanks to press renders showing a very similar looking device to the S10 and S10+. It is expected to be a more affordable option to its siblings while offering a similar experience with an edge-to-edge display, despite marginally larger bezels.

A new image has surfaced that offers an up close and personal look at the display cutout that will be used to house the front-facing camera. Like the hole-punch or not, this is the approach Samsung has settled on for its 2019 answer to the notch. That is until it puts the camera in the S Pen or uses the under-panel sensor it previously demoed to eliminate any front-facing camera.

Samsung releases four new Galaxy S9 teaser videos focusing on its 'reimagined' camera

As we approach the February 25th launch of the Samsung Galaxy S9, it's become apparent that the USP for the Korean company's latest flagship will be its "reimagined" camera(s). Perhaps that's because there's little else to focus on in an iterative update with few outward-facing improvements that the marketing department can really do anything with. There is a chance, however, that there will be some truly exciting enhancements that could see the camera on new devices compete with the Pixels and iPhones of this world.

Samsung will be unveiling the Galaxy Note8 on August 23rd in NYC

Last year's Galaxy Note7 was a bit of a train wreck for Samsung; it was a fantastic phone... aside from the fact that it had a tendency to catch fire. Samsung is hoping to move on from that with the Galaxy Note8, a phone that we've already seen leaked in render form pretty extensively. This latest Note will be announced at a Samsung Unpacked event in New York City on August 23rd.

Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note8 will reportedly be announced on August 23rd

The Galaxy Note8 has been a highly anticipated smartphone for some time, largely because of the success and subsequent catastrophic failure of its predecessor. Now, reports out of South Korea are pointing towards an August 23rd announcement, meaning that we have less than two months until we get to lay eyes on Samsung's latest flagship.

Samsung sends out invite for August 2nd event in NYC for the Note7 reveal

Samsung has just sent out the invitation for its Note7 launch event in New York City on August 2nd. The sixth-generation Note device has been leaked extensively at this point, though I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung has managed to keep a piece or two of information from us about the device at this point. If you want to know what the Note7 will look like, we can show you, because Evan Blass leaked it - in excruciatingly high resolution.

Samsung's 'Seven Days Of Unboxing' Promotion For The Galaxy S7 Features A Painting Llama

Phone manufacturers are having a harder and harder time getting our attention when it comes to drumming up interest for new releases. LG decided that cheeky marketing would be best when announcing cases and covers for phones that don't officially exist yet. In contrast, Samsung has decided to be just plain baffling. In the "Seven Days of Unboxing" promotion, Samsung lets someone see the new phone (which is almost certainly a Galaxy S7 and/or S7 Edge) for 30 seconds, after which they get to make an artist's interpretation for the audience.
