Netflix is testing an expensive new 'Ultra' subscription tier

Towards the end of last year, Netflix raised its prices in the US, with the most expensive option (Ultra HD, 4 screens) increasing from $11.99 to $13.99. In Europe, that top tier costs €13.99 (£9.99 in the UK). Chromecast Ultra formally announced, will cost $69

As with all devices formally announced today at Google's event (so far), we already knew about the Chromecast Ultra. The name and price was leaked two weeks ago, and not long after, the first images of the device appeared. After 30 million Chromecast devices have been sold, Google has formally announced the Chromecast Ultra.

The new device has the same hockey puck shape as the current Chromecast, but now with a 'G' logo in the place of a Chrome design. As expected, the Ultra will be capable of 4K playback with HDR and Dolby Vision.

Motorola Confirms Android 4.4 For DROID Mini, Ultra, Maxx, And Moto X

This afternoon, Motorola's Punit Soni shared a post on Google+ to follow up on the company's earlier "more to share soon..." post. Soni's post pointed users toward Motorola Mobility's online upgrade checking interface, which tells users whether or not their Motorola device will be receiving any planned updates.

The tool now confirms that Android 4.4 KitKat will be coming to the Moto X along with the DROID Mini, Ultra, and Maxx.

We have less than half a day left before the big Verizon triple-threat reveal of the new 2013 DROID family in New York City and San Francisco. The DROID Mini, DROID Ultra, and DROID MAXX should be worthy follow-ups to last year's DROID RAZR M, DROID RAZR HD, and DROID RAZR MAXX HD. In this post, I'm not going to talk about processor specs, RAM, or internal storage. Instead, I wanted to provide reliable information about these phones' batteries, along with the confirmations of wireless charging support built right into them. As a bonus, NFC and Wi-Fi details are also presented.

Spigen Ultra Thin Air Case For HTC One X: A Good Choice For Those Who Think Less Is More

I'm not much of a case person. I was never very clumsy with my gadgets and didn't think the added bulk was a worthy trade-off for the added protection, especially in the day and age of ultra-durable plastics and Gorilla Glass screens. But on both fronts, that's changing; it's a lot harder to guarantee the safety of my gadgets when I've got kids (we're both likely to drop things) and there are some very sleek cases on the market. Enter the $20 Spigen Ultra Thin Air case for the One X.

The Ultra Thin Air is, as one would surmise, very thin and very light.
