Although there's nothing wrong with treating yourself, takeout every night may be sustainable for your waistline in the long run. Because we care about your health and well-being (and you should too!), we've put together a list of apps that can help you maintain a healthy diet and even provide meal recommendations.

We often don't realize the number of calories we're eating versus how many we need to sustain our weight.
Ever since we've been asked to work from home, I've received a bunch of messages from my friends and coworkers asking me about home workout apps to stay fit. Instead of privately sharing my recommendations with them, I preferred to make them more widely available here. I've chosen ten apps from the Play Store that are highly-rated and can help most people continue to exercise while confined, including cardio, body weight, and high intensity training.
Google Fit stands as one of Google's only flagship apps on Android Wear, and may be the only one of its apps that matters more on a watch than it does on a phone. There's a new version of the app available on the Play Store for both watches and phones, but this update is all about adding a big feature for Wear. There's a new mode for recording strength training and similar activities that involve counting reps.
This update is for Wear 2.0 only, so quite a few people will have to wait until the rollout is complete before testing this out, but it works on the last developer preview as well as any watch that already has the official 2.0 firmware.
We've had our fun with Zombies, Run! before. The fitness program/zombie horde simulator is one of the more innovative ways we've seen to get in shape. However, it's not all casual fun. Sometimes you have to get serious. If you're looking for an app to push you a bit harder, you may want to check out Zombies, Run! 5K Training. Currently on sale for $0.99 in the Play Store (75% off), this one gives you more in-depth structure to get you through a full 5K in 8-weeks.
The app should work much like the regular version, with audio stories to augment your running experience.
In the ongoing effort to make apps better on Android, Google has released another new guide for the developers who may be looking for guidance on just how to build a great tablet-oriented app. The piece has some fairly detailed information, including how much to adjust padding of UI elements and how to target different screen sizes and resolutions. There is also more broad guidance on how to make the most of larger screen real-estate.

One thing that becomes clear as you read this advice is that the company doesn't want everyone developing for the Nexus 7 and ignoring other form factors.
There's a lot of run tracking apps out there, and you could be forgiven for forgetting about Google's very own My Tracks, what with its complete lack of zombies. But the dedicated runner or cyclist might want to give My Tracks a second glance, since it just got a major overhaul and (more importantly) it's still free. The biggest addition to the open source app is a user interface that plays nice with Ice Cream Sandwich, and presumably, Jelly Bean.
The basic tracking features, including map display, time, distance, elevation, et cetera are still present, but sharing options have been improved.
In order to make it easier for Android developers to get started with creating robust applications, the Android team today formalized and unified various coding tutorials into one clearly defined area of the Android dev site: Android Training. The tutorials, or classes, are very well put together, with splits into logical steps to make them flow well, along with sample code you can utilize to "do your homework." There is no fee for taking any of them - think of Android Training as a collection of well organized and curated tutorials.
I counted 11 general sections with 34 distinct lessons, and this number is going to be increasing in the future.
