Android Police's Toolbox browser extension is once again fully functional

If you haven't heard about it before, we have a browser extension called Toolbox for Google Play Store, which adds plenty of useful features to the Play Store website. It can automatically look up if an app is available on APKMirror, check for an app testing program (and tell you if you're enrolled), and more. Version 2.5 is now rolling out to Chrome and Firefox, with the Opera release pending approval.

Toolbox for Play Store v2.3 improves Google's awful new screenshot gallery

The desktop Play Store site was updated in March, and perhaps the most annoying aspect of the new design was the screenshot gallery. Even though the full-screen lightbox is nice, the embedded gallery requires constantly clicking the left/right arrows to scroll. We updated our Toolbox browser extension to support the new Play Store site last month, and a new update vastly improves the screenshot gallery.

Version 2.3 of our browser extension is now rolling out, and it has a new optional feature called 'Better screenshot gallery'. When enabled, Toolbox replaces the left/right buttons on the screenshot box with a scrollbar.

Our browser extension, 'Toolbox for Google Play Store,' now works with the new Play Store site

It was designed to make the Play Store website much better, with direct links to APKMirror/AP/AppBrain for each app and the ability to sign up for beta programs with one click. The first major update was released in October of last year, adding Firefox for Android support and improved APKMirror integration.

'Toolbox for Google Play Store,' our web browser extension, adds Firefox on Android support and more with v2.0

Back in December, we released a Chrome extension called 'Toolbox for Google Play Store.' It was designed to make the Play Store website much better, with direct links to APKMirror/AP/AppBrain for each app and the ability to sign up for beta programs with one click. A few months later, we released it for Opera, and later Firefox.

But all that time, there wasn't much in the way of new features or major improvements. Today, I'm excited to announce that version 2.0 of Toolbox for Play Store is rolling out to Chrome and Firefox users (Opera should get it in a day or two).

A few months later, the extension became available for Opera, and now it's on Firefox too.

Toolbox for Google Play Store, our Chrome extension for enhancing the Play Store, is now available on Opera

Back in December, we announced Toolbox for Google Play Store, a Chrome extension designed to improve the Play Store desktop site. It adds integration with several sites (including Android Police, Appbrain, and APKMirror), easy access to join/leave an app's beta program, and even fixing the '&' symbol not being displayed correctly in your device list. All of these features can be turned on or off individually.

[Review] ZDbox Delivers All Of Those Android Tools You Ordered

In the world of Android and, specifically, Android power-users, there are a lot of things you can do and a myriad of tools you can do these things with. One of my favorite things in the world is getting several tools I use regularly consolidated into a single package. If you use your device with any kind of regularity, you know that there are several things you like to know, modify, kill, lock, or enable. Enter ZDbox, a Swiss-army knife of sorts for Android.

ZDbox started its journey in an XDA thread and, over time, developed into a very powerful, polished power-app with a ton of tools and options.
