Update: According to this Google+ post, pre-orders for the phone will begin later today. There's still no word on a shipping date.
Update #2: You can now press the "Add to cart" button. The phone is currently scheduled to leave Google's warehouse in 2-3 weeks:
One of the more interesting aspects of HTC's One M8 launch is the rapid way the company is releasing the phone, with major American and Canadian carriers getting access to the device in one day or less. Read More
The Dot View case is HTC's answer to the various windowed cases from Samsung and LG, and you have to give them points for creativity. The front cover is punched with holes - just big enough to see through, not enough to expose the screen to damage. (We hope.) It will cost $49.99, and it's already on the HTC store in five different colors, though you can't buy one yet.
The Lite-Brite style case allows the phone to show a dot matrix-style display for different functions like the time, weather, and phone calls. Read More
Update: it looks like the floodgates have opened. A Facebook user showed full photos of the new One, including the back of a Verizon retail box confirming a Snapdragon 801 processor, MicroSD card slot, 2GB of RAM, and a nanoSIM tray.

The advertisement spotted by GSMArena reveals a few things that we didn't already know, and it does indicate that the "Duo Camera" can "create vivid images even in low light." Read More
Another week closer to HTC's big New York event, another huge leak from the indefatigable Evleaks. This time he's taken to Google+ to show off what looks like a first-party case for the HTC M8 (a.k.a. "The New HTC One"). This case it unlike any we've seen thus far: instead of a transparent "window" like the ones that Samsung and LG have been using for their flagships, this one appears to be covered in tiny holes, allowing the screen below to flash simple messages. While photos of upcoming flagships from Samsung and other major manufacturers remain elusive, hardware leaks from HTC have been coming in steadily for the last few weeks. The latest and certainly greatest comes from the indefatigable Evleaks, who posted a full press photo/render of the HTC M8 earlier this morning. Evleaks says it will be called "The All New HTC One," foregoing any kind of sequel moniker.
