[Trailer] Gameloft's Official Iron Man 3 Endless Runner Game Lands April 25th, Melts Your Face With Snark And Explosions

Iron Man 3 is coming out soon. If you haven't seen the trailers, suffice to say it's going to be awesome. It's the first Marvel movie featuring the main set of heroes after the Avengers took over the world's economy. Until it comes out, though, Gameloft wants to sate your appetite with the official Iron Man 3 game, an endless runner-style title that has fewer giant monkeys and more things going KERPLOW.

The gameplay trailer shows us much of how it works and it's all pretty standard fare. Gameloft has never been the developer to stray too far from the mainstream.

Catcha Catcha Aliens! Hits The Play Store, Dry British Humor Included

Are your nightmares set on a thin path bordered by trees? Do your thumbs reflexively swipe left or right before turning down a hallway? Do you fear flying monkeys? [New Game] Imangi Studios Debuts Temple Run 2 With Enhanced Graphics, New Obstacles

Bringing a much-needed update to the wildly popular Temple Run, Imangi Studios introduced Temple Run 2 to the Play Store earlier this evening. The game, which brings updated graphics, new obstacles, and player-specific powers, is essentially a refresh of the original, bringing it up to par with recent endless-runner entries like Activision's Pitfall!.

Temple Run 2, like its predecessor, provides players with a vague pretext surrounding a sacred idol. All you really need to know is that you're running from a big, scary, demon monkey, avoiding obstacles, and collecting as many coins as possible along the way. While the overall gameplay dynamic remains the same, players will enjoy sizable enhancements - for one thing, alternate characters are no longer just custom meshes - each character has its own special power.

Temple Run 2 Will Arrive On Android January 24th, Brings Bigger Monkey Says Imangi Studios

The original Temple Run was a huge hit on Android when it came out, following an already successful splash on iOS. Now, Imangi Studios is hoping it can pull the same feat off again with Temple Run 2. The title just launched on Apple's App Store today. Don't adjust your television sets, folks. Partly because you're probably not reading this on a TV so adjusting it would be silly and partly because, yes, this is still an Android blog. The developer has said that the new game will arrive on Android next week. January 24th to be precise. This does mean we can get an early look at it now:

The new game will feature a brand new Temple to Run through (I get it!).

[New Game] Streaker! Is Like Temple Run, But With Naked People

You know what games don't have enough of these days? Censored cartoon nudity. Everyone knows it's true. Particularly in the running games category. Sure, we've got secret agents, gingers escaping death, and Pixar heroines, yet all of them are decidedly clothed. Streaker! attempts to remedy this problematic conundrum. In this adventure, you're the other man fleeing the scene from a sordid affair. Did we mention this probably isn't for kids? Because it's not.

While it's not quite as polished as games like Agent Dash, it's still very smooth and easy to play. Tilt controls are responsive and jumping, turning, and ducking are fluid.

Aby Escape Lands On Android, Perpetuates Stereotypes That All Raccoons Are Thieves On The Run

Yes, this is a story about a running game that was popular on iOS now arriving on Android. No, it's not that one. Or that one. This one is called Aby Escape. In this game, you play as a raccoon attempting to escape from a hunter, a cop, and...a biker? Sure, I guess they chase raccoons. Who says they can't? And just to prove it, this raccoon, Aby, is going to run like mad from all of these pursuers.

If you've played a running game before, you know the drill. Avoid obstacles, collect things, and don't get caught. This iteration of the genre also includes a story mode that promises you will laugh.

Temple Run: Brave Puts The Red-Haired Heroine From Pixar's Latest In Imangi's Gauntlet

In recent months, we've hardly seen a game more hyped than Imangi's Temple Run. Couple that with the inherent excitement any time Pixar decides to release something, and it's hard not to get a little excited. Temple Run: Brave, despite it's entirely unimaginative name, places Princess Meridia as the centerpiece of this running game that seems to involve little-to-no temples.

The game doesn't have any illusions about what it is. It's Temple Run, but with Pixar characters. The added ability to fire arrows at bonus targets is a nice addition, though. Also, the visuals are excellent, inspired by the movie and Scotland itself.
