Google Express has been around for years, allowing you to order items from multiple retailers through one central location. The service gained more popularity after the Google Home was released, since you could place orders using only voice commands, similar to Amazon on Alexa speakers. Now it appears one major store is pulling out of Express - Staples. Read More
While Chromebooks continue to inch more into the mid-range and high-end laptop tiers, there are still entry-level models to help you dip your feet into the world of Chrome OS. If that sounds appealing to you, then you may want to check out the deal we've got today courtesy of Staples. The Lenovo ThinkPad Chromebook 11e is going for $139.99, which is a savings of $210. In another twist to the story that just won't go away, the Nexus 10 has now disappeared from Staples' online inventory. Going to the tablet's former URL on staples.com now simply redirects you to their main tablet landing page, and searching for "Nexus 10" now shows nothing except for a case and some screen protectors.
When you combine this with the fact that the 16 GB Nexus 10 has been out of stock on Google Play since October, could this mean a refreshed Nexus 10 is ready for launch? Not really. What this likely means is that the Nexus 10 was not a big enough seller for Staples to place another order once their stock was depleted. Read More
The retail slugfest that is Black Friday is almost upon us, and several stores are eager to get in a few punches before the bell. That includes Staples, which is reviving its well-received $50 off tablets coupon from earlier this year. The coupon is valid online, in stores, or over the phone (people still shop over the phone?) but it will expire after today, November 27th.
Of course there are a few stipulations. First and foremost, the discount can only be applied to tablets with a regular price of $150 or more. The discount doesn't apply to Apple products, the Kindle Fire line (including the new HDX), the Microsoft Surface, plus this Acer Iconia A1 and this ASUS MemoPad ME102. Read More
Christmas is coming a little early this year – Staples has a coupon that gets you $50 off any tablet over $149. That means you can get a solid deal on several great Android slates.
At this very moment in time, the new Nexus 7 is probably the hottest tablet on the planet. There's a good reason for that, too: Google built on what it started last year with the first gen N7, improving it in almost every way. The new generation has a faster processor, double the RAM, and a higher-resolution display, just to name some of the most obvious changes. Early reviews of the device (worry not, ours is on the way) have praised it almost endlessly, proving that Google really hit the mark with its newest small tablet.
Naturally, as an Android user, you want this tablet. Read More
Prospective second-gen Nexus 7 buyers, you've got one more option for when the Play Store is (probably) overwhelmed on July 30th. Staple has already posted pages for the 16GB and 32GB WiFi versions of the new Nexus 7, though of course you can't buy one just yet - they're both marked as out of stock. Staples was one of 11 retail partners mentioned in the Google announcement. The prices are the standard $229.99 and $269.99, respectively.
The good news: based on my own experiences, Staples tends to put new hardware products on sale the morning of their release, so you can stroll down to the local brick and mortar retailer to hunt for one. Read More
We must be achingly close to a new 7-inch slate from Google with all the Nexus 7 sales going on. This time the already low price over at Staples is getting even lower with the application of a $30 coupon code. This is a solid deal, even for last year's model.
We've seen every indication a shiny new Nexus 7 is on the way from Google, including retailers clearing out stock of the original tablet at steep discounts. Staples is up today with a price reduction on both 16GB and 32GB versions. It's not a bad price, but there are online deals for less. This does, however, make it look like Staples is making room for a new product – most other brick-and-mortar retailers are sticking to the default price.
This contest is now over.
The final results are listed below. If you've won, you will be contacted in the near future. Congratulations!
