Samsung's newest mid-range phone sure does look a lot like the old one

The Galaxy A52s gets a new processor and... not much else

Samsung is one of the leading champions of mid-range phones right now, with its A-series of devices being massive hits across pretty much every price point imaginable. The Galaxy A52, in particular, is an excellent device, as reliable as it is affordable. While it's far from an aging phone — it was initially announced in March, with a guaranteed three years of software updates still ahead — Samsung has deemed it worthy of an early upgrade with an all-new model.

We recently took a second look at the Samsung Galaxy A52, and although we absolutely liked the phone, it didn't quite wow us. If you were on the fence about picking one up, partly because it lacked power, Samsung is working on something a little new that might just interest you (like these fresh Samsung bois).

After a "worldwide" launch that expanded to India a few months ago, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S7 FE is coming to the US in both cellular-connected 5G and Wi-Fi models. Specs for the two 12.4" tablets differ beyond just connectivity, and what you're getting is definitely cut down compared to the Tab S7+, but that comes with a benefit: Prices for the new tablets start at just $530 for the Wi-Fi version, and $670 for the 5G model, with availability set for tomorrow, August 5th.
