Google's Wear OS still has a few long-standing issues that haven't been addressed, like stagnant hardware and poor app support, but Fossil Group has been trying to pick up the slack. Last year's Fossil Gen 5 smartwatches showed the platform at its best, featuring 1GB RAM to reduce lag and a few exclusive software features.

Just a few days ago, a product listing for the then-unannounced Skagen Falster 3 smartwatch with Google's Wear OS showed up on Amazon. The watch has now officially been revealed at CES, and it's more or less a Fossil Gen 5 in a different casing — which is certainly a good thing.
Details surrounding a new Skagen Falster 3 Wear OS device have just leaked courtesy of Amazon. Although there doesn't appear to have been any announcement for the new device, a listing for it has silently appeared on the retailer's site, revealing photos of the watch, a handful of specs, features, physical dimensions, and price: $295. In fact, you can even pre-order it now, with an expected release date of January 25th.
