This War of Mine is not a fun game. But it isn't trying to be. While other "realistic" war games will hand you a rifle and tell you to take that beach, Private, in This War of Mine a few scraps of meat is a much more important tool for survival. You control three survivors living in a bombed-out house in the middle of an extremely non-specific war zone, trying to scrape together enough materials to craft their way through the war without starving or freezing.
Fans of online PC action games will be aware of World of Tanks, a popular free-to-play tank simulator that's frequently updated with added content. iOS has had access to a simplified version for over a year, which would normally cause some ire among Android gamers. But I'm prepared to give developer Wargaming a pass on this one, since World of Tanks Blitz is launching with cross-platform play between Android and iOS, ensuring a healthy population of online players right from the start.

After 20 minutes of playing Bio Inc., I feel like a horrible, horrible person. Poor John Smith was already overweight, a chronic fast food eater, and a compulsive smoker, and I went out of my way to target his respiratory system. I gave him lung cancer. I gave him bronchitis. And when his doctors realized something was wrong, I went after his ticker and gave him angina, then a full-on heart attack. But that's kind of the point of Bio Inc.: you are everything medically wrong with the world, and it's you're job to kill the patient by any means necessary.
Lo, and then the lord did tap the touchscreen interface and cause great mountains to rise up from the landscape. Then with a swipe and a tap, the lord did create all the creatures of the land. Following all that, the lord made the sky purple, just because, for this god is a confusing and temperamental god. It's finally here, folks: the most-anticipated agrarian simulation game of the year is now available on the Google Play Store. If you wile away the lonely Kansas nights with the latest Tractor Supply Company catalogs, if you've ever found yourself checking out a ball hitch on eBay, if the words "crop rotation" get you hot and bothered, then this is your game.
Transport Tycoon needs no introduction, but I'm going to introduce it anyway. You see, as popular as this title was, many of us managed to miss it. Actually, that probably doesn't come as much of a surprise. A game about transporting people and products around isn't exactly the easiest sell. Yet if you take the time to dig in, there is a wealth of content here that's sure to hook you for a very long time. But while the the interface is now completely touch friendly, it doesn't make diving into this game any easier.
An official port of the wildly popular Transport Tycoon PC title is blazing towards Android full steam ahead. The game, which is being designed and directed by original creator Chris Sawyer, is set to launch in just two weeks. Sawyer's company and development partner Origin8 have announced that the title will launch on mobile devices on October 3rd.
While an open source remake is already available on Google Play, an official version of Transport Tycoon is coming to Android before the end of 2013. The game's original creator, Chris Sawyer, is designing and directing what is being billed as the definitive version of the simulation classic. Developers at Origin8 Technologies, who are also working on the game, have recreated and restored Sawyer's original code and are revising it for touchscreen devices.
