The fourth entry of the popular Serious Sam series of first-person shooters has been in the works for a while, and developer Croteam revealed more details about the game today. Interestingly, Google has also paid for Serious Sam 4 to be a timed Stadia exclusive, blocking the game's release on consoles until next year.
While the past month hasn't been great for... just about everyone, it has been a great time to be a Stadia subscriber. Google announced three new games for the streaming platform last week, and now Stadia Pro members can claim three (unrelated) games during April.
A lot of games take themselves pretty seriously. Serious Sam, despite the name, is not one of them. This over-the-top shooter franchise features big guns and even bigger monsters, and now you can play it on Google Stadia. You get three games in the bundle, allowing for hours of mindless blasting.
Blowing stuff up is a classic gaming trope, but few series have done it as well, or as consistently as Serious Sam. What started as a mindless, frantic killing-spree has evolved into a more attractive, high-resolution killing-spree. There's no covers system and no regenerating shields – this is serious business. In the newest deal from Humble Bundle, you can get up to seven Serious Sam titles plus the original public test edition for one low price of your choosing.
Paying any amount grants you access to Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter, Serious Sam: The Random Encounter, Serious Sam Double D, Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack!, and Serious Sam Public Test 2.
We first told you about Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack! back in July, and now, just two months later, it has officially landed in the Android Market.
Kamikaze Attack is a new take on a the cult classic action from the old school Serious Sam, putting you in the shoes of Sam's mortal enemy, The Headless Kamikaze. You'll blast, kick, and whatever else your way through 40 insane levels trying to rid the world of Sam once and for all.
Is it me, or is that iPhone overly-big? I guess it's possible that the guy just has really tiny hands. I'd like to see him hold a BK double cheeseburger.
Fans of the classic first person shooter series Serious Sam can rejoice, as the cult video game is making its way to Android sometime this month. Titled Serious Sam: Kamikaze Attack! you play the role of Sam's arch nemesis The Headless Kamikaze, as you make your way through various obstacle-filled levels in order to fulfill your greatest desire: destroy Sam.
The game features 40 levels of action-packed adventure, with one seemingly common theme: you're going to die. The beautiful graphics and rich environments are both inviting and distracting while you journey down the treacherous path to your demise. The developer, Be-Rad Entertainment, highlights the overall look of the game with a fantastic and memorable quote: "Cartoon dismemberment has never been so pretty."
The game will also feature social media integration so you can share you achievements with all of your homies on Facebook.
