The Samsung Galaxy Watch3 has been leaked almost completely at this point. There's some we still don't know — how much it'll cost, for example — but we're fairly sure it's going to be revealed on August 5th at Samsung Unpacked, we've got most of the specs at this point, and even a look at a live Watch 3 with a band getting unboxed and set up in a hands-on video. If Samsung has any big Watch 3 secrets left, they're well hidden, but here's everything we know so far.
Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Watch 3 has been leaking like crazy recently. It first went through the FCC back in May, and then a report claimed that Samsung would announce the watch at an event in July. And now it looks like we're getting some even more specific confirmation of that announcement date thanks to a leaked product render.
When we first reviewed the Samsung Galaxy Watch, we were impressed with its fantastic build quality and battery life, but couldn't justify the steep price tag. If you've been eyeing one for yourself, the refurbished 42mm Rose Gold model is currently on sale for $140 ($120 off) on eBay and Amazon, the lowest we've seen yet.
Samsung makes some of the best Android-compatible smartwatches around. Last year the company released the Watch Active, a smaller sports-focused watch, and followed it up a few months later with the Active2. Both watches are still excellent, and now they're heavily discounted at multiple retailers.
Samsung has been working on adding blood pressure measurements to its wearables for a while. It launched a limited test of that feature for the original Watch Active back in 2019, and now, about a year later, the company has announced that the South Korean government has authorized its brand-new Health Monitor app. It's capable of taking blood pressure with nothing but the Watch Active2 (plus some calibration help from a traditional cuff) and will be available in the country in the third quarter of 2020.
If you're in the market for an affordable smartwatch that still packs a punch, eBay might have the product you've been waiting for. Originally listed at $380, a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Watch (42MM) SM-R815 with GPS and LTE capabilities is currently discounted to the low price of $170.
Christmas is approaching, and if you've managed to ignore that fact by putting off buying presents to this day, you might be interested in a renewed black or rose gold 42mm Samsung Galaxy Watch. It's a refurbished product that works and looks like it's new, but it's considerably cheaper. At the moment, the wearable is going for the new low of $160 ($170 off the MSRP) on Amazon and should arrive before Christmas if you order today.
Do you like to go golfing? Is the normal Samsung Galaxy Watch just not doing it for you? If so, Samsung has the solution - a special 'Golf Edition' of its latest smartwatch. It's pre-loaded with the Smart Caddie application, which displays geographical information about a desired course.
