After years of silence from Google, Wear OS has finally returned to the spotlight. New partnerships with Samsung and Fitbit have reenergized Android-friendly wearables, but there's still a lot we don't know. Both of these companies currently power some of the most popular wearables for Google's mobile OS, leaving many current owners unsure about the future of their watch.

At this point, it seems like anyone interested in picking up a smartwatch is waiting eagerly for the Galaxy Watch4. Samsung's wearable has been leaked and rumored countless times this year, even before the company teamed up with Google to help reinvent Wear OS. Thanks to a couple of new leaks, we're getting our best look yet at the Watch4, as well as some of its potential fitness capabilities.

If you're looking to get a smartwatch for your Android phone, you'll be hard-pressed to find one better than what Samsung has to offer, including the Watch3 and the Watch Active2. If you're not in a hurry, you may want to hold out for one of the successors to these watches as they are apparently not too far out.
