The Taiwan branch of Samsung Electronics has just announced what is roughly translated as a "First Snow White" version of its popular Galaxy Note9. The new color is timed to welcome the winter season, and for the time being it's not only a Taiwan exclusive, but sale is limited to just a handful of stores in the country.

Google's ARCore team just rolled out a new update that appears to bring the augmented reality framework to several more phones and tablets. Some hot new (and upcoming) devices are on the list, like the Galaxy Note9, OnePlus 6T, and ROG Phone. These are also joined by some older models like the Sony Xperia X.

Samsung's latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note9, officially went on sale yesterday for a whopping $999.99 - or $1,249.99 for the 512GB model. We started seeing sales almost immediately when the similarly-priced Note8 was released, and now the first discount on a Note9 is here. The 128GB model is currently $929.99 on eBay, and you can get the Wireless Charger Duo for $20 off as well.

Now that the Galaxy S9 is widely available, Samsung is turning its attention to this year's Note device. The Note7 was launched in August of 2016, and the Note8 went on sale in September 2017. According to a new report from Bloomberg, Samsung is targeting an August launch for the Note9, with an improved camera as the main selling point.
