Samsung's been at the top of its game when it comes to software updates lately, and most recently that's taken the shape of bringing One UI 3.0 to the Galaxy family. Hot on the heels of the Note 20 series getting a taste of Android 11, Samsung is now rolling out One UI 3.0 to the Notes of yesteryear — the Note10 and the Note10+.

The Galaxy Note10 is a year old, but it's still one of the best phones you can buy right now, especially considering it was given an extra year of OS updates. Now you can get one for $699.99, a discount of $250 from the original price. The Note10 is equipped with a Snapdragon 855 chipset, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage (with microSD expansion), a 6.3" AMOLED screen, triple rear cameras (12MP wide, 12MP zoom, 16MP ultra-wide), and a 3,500mAh battery. The phone shipped with Android 9 Pie, but was updated to Android 10 in January. Samsung already confirmed the Note10 will get Android 11 and 12.

T-Mobile upgrades the 5G experience on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G

The state of 5G still isn't great, but it's getting a little bit better today — for owners of Samsung's Galaxy Note 10+ who use T-Mobile as their cell provider, at least. T-Mobile launched its standalone 5G network last month, and now the company is rolling out an update to the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G that enables support for 5G that doesn't need to be anchored to 4G LTE.

The third and last installment of the latest Star Wars trilogy, The Rise of Skywalker, is slated to hit cinemas on December 20, and the hype is growing. Samsung and Disney (Lucasfilm, to be specific) have already announced that they're working on campaigns together, and today, the Korean company seems to have decided to join the dark side of the force: It introduced a Galaxy Note10+ Special Edition dedicated to Kylo Ren, coming with a unique lightsaber-red S Pen and a bunch of extras in the box.Other than the red stylus, the phone features similarly colored power and volume buttons and a bezel just as red running around the camera array. The matte black rear also sports a Sith badge and a Star Wars logo beneath Samsung's. The software of this special Galaxy comes with Star Wars-themed content such as "wallpapers, shutdown animations, icons, and sounds."

Just a few days ago, reports began circulating about how easily the security of the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the Samsung Galaxy S10 series could be bypassed to unlock the device.  Samsung has promised to address the issue in an upcoming software update, but in the meantime, some banks have taken matters into their own hands by either preventing Galaxy S10 owners from downloading and using their apps from the Play Store or disabling the fingerprint log-in option.

Everyone already knows about the Galaxy Note 10. It’s a flagship device for Samsung and boasts a flagship price of $950. Spring for the bigger Note 10+, and that price goes up to $1099. However, it now looks like an affordable mid-range Note might be in the works.

After leaks have shown virtually everything the Pixel 4 has to offer, Netflix doesn't seem to care if someone spots the yet-to-be-unveiled phone on its website. The company has updated its lists of devices supporting HD and HDR10 playback to include a number of new flagships like the Samsung Galaxy Note10, Fold, and Tab S6, plus the Asus ROG Phone II – among them, you'll also find the unreleased Pixel 4 and 4 XL.

There are only a few hours left before the Note10 is officially unveiled, but if you can't wait that long to learn the full details, here's something to keep you busy: Pictures showing the device in blue have leaked, though it's unclear whether that version will be available in all markets.

We'll probably get our first official glimpse of the Note10 at Samsung's event next week, but in the meantime, images of another new color have appeared online, courtesy of the folks at WinFuture. A pink version of the phone should be coming to complement the existing black and opalescent/multi-colored leaks, though it may not come to all markets.

The Galaxy Note 10 and 10 Pro have leaked sufficiently already, and thus, we have a pretty good idea what the phones will look like. We also know that they will most likely lose the headphone jack but keep physical buttons, and that they will probably be "unpacked" on August 7. Another interesting rumor is also making its rounds, courtesy of leaker Ice universe, who claims the Note 10 will come with a three-stage variable aperture lens, consisting of f/1.5, f/1.8, and f/2.4.

We're eagerly awaiting the latest installment of Samsung's Galaxy Note series, and the rumor mill is already spinning fast. We've heard that Samsung plans to release four Galaxy Note 10 models with both 4G and 5G options, and a source familiar with the matter already whispered to us that the latest model is likely coming without a headphone jack and physical buttons. Now, the first CAD-based renders of the device have been published through OnLeaks, and sadly, there's indeed no headphone jack in sight – the buttons, on the other hand, look alive and well, so make of that what you will.
