Samsung's newest Galaxy phones are arguably the company's best yet, and the Galaxy S7 Edge is the cream of the crop. Its powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM ensure that users are never left wanting, the vibrant 5.5-inch Quad HD Edge display features some of the best display tech on the market today, and expandable storage allows users to store as much data as they want on their mobile. Pair that with Android Marshmallow, wireless charging, and IP68 water resistance, and you have one of the best smartphones on the planet.
If you've been considering the S7 Edge for your daily driver, AT&T has a solid deal going right now: zero dollars down and free shipping.
Samsung's marketing team has been hitting it out of the park recently with funny, memorable commercials highlighting the S7's many cool features. A couple of days ago, they posted three new commercials starring Lil Wayne and Wesley Snipes, and I think they are pretty stellar. I could describe them for you, but I wouldn't wan't to spoil the surprise. Watch them for yourself.
We published a quick look at the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge earlier this week, but today we had a chance to really sit down with the phones and learn a few things. With that in mind, here's our full hands-on.
The hardware on the new S7 and S7 edge is going to be deeply familiar to those with a Galaxy S6, Note 5, or S6 Edge+ - the design features are only slightly evolved, with most of the changes being internal. That's not to say nothing's changed on the outside, though. Samsung specifically considered user feedback, particularly from the S6 edge, and made the phone feel softer and smooth to hold around the sides.
Alright Samsung fanboys, the wait for the Galaxy S7 announcement is over, and now the wait for product launch day begins. If you already know that the S7 or S7 Edge will be your next device, then you can now reserve one for yourself by pre-ordering with any of the four major US carriers. Here are the pre-order links along with the full retail price from each carrier.
The Galaxy S7 is coming. It will be the most-anticipated Android smartphone of 2016 [relative the general populace], because it will likely be the best selling single model of Android smartphone of 2016. It will almost certainly be announced next month in the lead-up to MWC. As such, the number of rumors and general crap flying around about the Galaxy S7 right now is slowly going critical, and you're probably seeing a lot of it mucking up your readers and social feeds. The question is: what do you believe?
At this point, the summary is: not much. There are a few key tidbits out there I think really worth paying attention to, but there's also a lot of speculation and general rumor-mongering going on that makes it difficult to separate plausible, reliable information from something that would be better off on a fan forum with other fiction.
