Google's rounded mobile search redesign is now rolling out to everyone

Google isn't one to rest on its laurels when it comes to the UX of its apps and sites. The company is continually testing different looks as it tries to keep up with the ever-changing design landscape and make its products as easy to use as possible. Search is still the company's bread and butter, and accordingly, it gets A/B tested more than most other properties. Chrome Canary 62 has a new rounded interface for Chrome Home

The experimental 'Chrome Home' interface first appeared in October of last year, and at the time, only moved Chrome's address bar to the bottom of the screen. Google has continued to work on it since then, like adding a revamped New Tab page with a bottom tab bar. A new flag has appeared in Chrome Canary, that further changes the Chrome Home interface by making everything round. In other words, there's a new experiment for the experimental UI.

Twitter 7.0 beta users are seeing a new, more rounded UI via a server-side update

Twitter goes through UI changes pretty frequently, but this transition to rounding everything is arguably the most major one in a while. We first saw this late last month in the alpha app, but it's now going out server-side to beta users on Twitter 7.0 through a server-side change.
