Despite some weak points, this is a great phone for $220
When a budget-friendly carrier-exclusive phone is announced, it’s natural to expect a lot of red flags. T-Mobile has been launching self-branded phones under the REVVL brand for several years, and as spec-to-price value continues to increase, it’s only producing better results over time. The new REVVL 6 Pro 5G is the latest to join this series, and thanks to a combination of software, performance, and battery life, it’s turning out to be one of the best budget phones I’ve ever used.

Every carrier offers its own branded devices, usually aiming to lure customers in with low prices. T-Mobile has had its REVVL series for a few years now, selling phones made by Motorola or TCL but with its own logo on the back. The REVVL V+ 5G is its latest release, and if you've been looking to find an affordable 5G-friendly smartphone, this might be the one for you.There are two things you'll notice about this device right away: it's big, and it's cheap. With a 6.82" HD+ display, this is a giant phone. Just look at the hands-on video T-Mobile published below — it looks comically big, with a size increase over last year's already massive REVVL 5G (careful not to mix them up). The carrier plans to sell it for just under $200, with specs to match: a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage.

T-Mobile is updating its own-brand REVVL line of mid-range phones with three new entries, including a 5G phone that costs $400 at full retail. All of them are available from September 4 at T-Mobile on discount and, for the first time, at Metro by T-Mobile.
Back in August, T-Mobile released its own branded budget phone, the 'REVVL.' For $125, it offered a few features rarely found at its price point, like a fingerprint sensor. The carrier said it sold three times more REVVL phones than it initially planned, so now T-Mobile has released a higher-end model, fittingly named the 'REVVL Plus.'
T-Mobile's oft-leaked budget smartphone is now official. The Revvl is launching tomorrow (August 10th) for a mere $125 if paid all at once. Alternatively, you can get the phone with the carrier's Jump-on-demand service for $5 per month. You should not expect amazing specs for that price, but the Revvl looks competent at least.
A little under three months ago, our friends over at Android Authority posted about T-Mobile's upcoming REVVL line of phones, starting with the T1. Since then, news on the phone has remained completely silent. However, T-Mobile has done us all a favor and leaked its own phone via its support pages, giving us a ton of information.
The words "carrier-exclusive phone" are generally met with disappointment or annoyance. But instead of locking down expensive devices, like Verizon's Motorola DROID devices, T-Mobile could be working on a series of mid-range phones. Android Authority recently obtained an image of what is believed to be the "REVVL T1," expected to be the most affordable device in T-Mobile's upcoming product line.
