Realme brings 10-minute ultra-fast charging outside of China with the GT3

While US residents are stuck referring to 45W charging as "fast," international companies are pushing further than ever before. At MWC 2023, Realme announced the GT3, its latest flagship smartphone headed for global availability. And just one year after debuting 150W fast-charging at last year's conference, the company has returned with a device capable of charging nearly twice as fast, reaching some seriously ludicrous speeds in the process.
Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, and Realme have all been trying to make names for themselves when it comes to charging smartphones superfast. Xiaomi has already managed to make 120W fast charging a common feature on all its premium devices launched since 2021. Not to be left behind, BBK-owned Realme announced at MWC 2022 that it planned to introduce 150W UltraDart charging with its GT Neo 3. Now, nearly a month later, this charging hot-shot has officially launched in China.

Realme is constantly flirting with the flagship smartphone market, and while it got pretty close with the launch of the Realme GT series last year, the company has shared its plans to release a full-fat, premium flagship this year in the form of the Realme GT 2 Pro. From there, the device has popped up in the leak cycle a handful of times, with Realme also feeding us teasers as well. Now the phone is going official in China (and coming to Europe soon), with a promise of eco-friendliness and premium specs.
