Unsurprisingly, Fire TVs are mostly entry-level models that deliver good quality at low prices. It's no surprise that Amazon has periodic sales on its current lineups, deals that get more frequent during events like Prime Early Access. Somewhat unexpectedly, Best Buy is offering better deals than Amazon on a couple of the best Fire TV televisions. For example, the Insignia F50 Fire TV outperforms Amazon's Omni series TVs in terms of color accuracy, consistency, overall volume, and input latency.

Typical to Xiaomi’s approach, its TV range in India has so far focused on budget offerings, massively undercutting the traditional players. After capturing a major chunk of the local smart TV market, Xiaomi is now stepping up to a slightly more premium space with its latest QLED model that aims to offer premium picture quality and design, but with pricing that's still affordable.

Samsung is well-known for its excellent smartphone and tablet displays that top display rankings year after year. Its line of QLED TVs are generally no different, offering excellent display performance in a slim package with narrow bezels. The Q60R is Samsung's entry-level QLED TV, but it's still usually $900. However, it's currently on sale for about $700 at both Amazon and Best Buy.This particular model, the QN55Q60RAFXZA, is a 2019 production model that comes spec-rich despite being labeled entry-level: 4K resolution with HDR10+ and HLG, wide-color gamut, 240Hz Motion Rate, Freesync variable refresh rate technology for gaming, the usual assortment of smart TV apps (including Apple TV), integration with voice assistants (Bixby, Alexa, Google Assistant), Dolby Audio, and plenty of ports out in the back (4x HDMI, Ethernet, Optical, RF, and USB).

Earlier today, a regional vice president for OnePlus tweeted out details regarding the hotly anticipated OnePlus TV, revealing that it will come in a 55" size (among others, most likely), and the 55" version will sport a QLED panel. Also, although we were pretty sure that the OnePlus TV would be "smart" thanks to Android TV based on prior leaks, @androidtv_rumor confirms that Google has just certified a new device named "Dosa."
