Samsung's 18.4-Inch Galaxy View Tablet Drops Further In Price, Now Costs $449

Samsung's 18.4-Inch Galaxy View Tablet Drops Further In Price, Now Costs $449

You could think of the Galaxy View as an Android-powered all-in-one computer that isn't tethered to a wall. The 18.4-inch tablet is so much larger than the competition that early images showed it being carried around like a briefcase. It launched at $599.99, but after only two weeks of availability, Samsung dropped the price by $100.

Now the number is dipping down again.

OnePlus 2 64GB Price Permanently Settles Down To $349 ($40 Lower), Refunds Will Be Issued For The Past 15 Days

OnePlus has been trying to get its ducks in a row for the past few months, slowly fixing most of the issues people have had with its ordering and shipping process by no longer requiring invites to buy phones and providing free shipping on orders above $100. Now it's back with another enticing reason to buy its OnePlus 2: a $40 price drop.

The phone, which launched in July, came in two different configurations: 16GB storage with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage with 4GB RAM. The former doesn't seem to be available anymore, and the latter which was priced at $389 at launch is now down to $349.

Google Drops The Nexus 5X Price To $349 For 16GB, $399 For 32GB In The US Google Store

Google Drops The Nexus 5X Price To $349 For 16GB, $399 For 32GB In The US Google Store

Google's cheaper option for this year's Nexus phone is now a little cheaper. Without any special fanfare, the LG Nexus 5X has dropped its price in the Google Store. The 16GB model is now $349 (down from $379) and the 32GB model is now $399 (down from $429). That places both of them more firmly in the mid-range price bracket, which is pretty nice considering the high-end processor and screen, not to mention quick Android updates from Google.

At the moment the price drop seems to be on the Google Store only. There's no mention of a "sale" or any of the usual indications of a limited-time promotion, so it looks like these price drops are permanent, something that's not unprecedented with Nexus models.

[Deal Alert] Anker's 25W 5-Port USB Charging Station Is Down To Only $12 On Amazon

[Deal Alert] Anker's 25W 5-Port USB Charging Station Is Down To Only $12 On Amazon

The Anker 5-port USB charger is a way to take that cluster of chargers that's turning the power strip behind your sofa into a fire hazard and consolidate it down into something manageable. With enough ports to charge five devices at once, you're also freeing up much-needed power outlets.

Last year this hub was available for $16 on Amazon if you used a coupon code that dropped the price down from $20. Those of you who meander over to the device's page today may find that it's gone down a bit since then. That's right, now it's only $12. And no, you don't need to fumble with any promotional codes.

Moto 360 Price Drop Appears To Be Permanent, Now $150 In The Google Store And Elsewhere

Moto 360 Price Drop Appears To Be Permanent, Now $150 In The Google Store And Elsewhere

Over a month ago the Moto 360 went on sale for $150. Now it looks like the circular smartwatch may have permanently dropped in price. The Google Store, Motorola.com, and Amazon are all listing it priced at $100 less than its original MSRP (though Best Buy still shows it at $250).

Selection_004

The Moto 360 probably remains the most well-known Android Wear device, even if it's hardly the latest and greatest. Thanks to Motorola's craftmanship, the watch still makes for a stylish timepiece. So if you don't want to wait around for the next generation of Wear devices or part with over twice as much money for the LG Watch Urbane, now's not a bad time to pick up a Moto 360 for a lot less than it used to be.

2nd Gen Nest Protect Smoke Alarm Is Now Up For Pre-Order (Ships Next Month) From Nest, Google, And Amazon—Old One Drops By $20 In The Google Store

Today Nest has unveiled the second generation of its Protect smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. It will retail for the same $100 as the previous model, and it comes with a number of fixes intended to address the flaws of the first model.

The big new feature is the ability to silence an alarm using the companion app. Other additions include a sensor that can tell the difference between fast and slow fires and a humidity sensor that should prevent the device from going off due to steam. If you have a soon-to-be-released Nest Cam in the same room, the companion app will let you quickly get a view of what's going on once the alarms sound off.

Amazon Drops The Fire Phone Price Again: $179 Unlocked, Still Including A Year Of Prime ($100 Value)

Amazon Drops The Fire Phone Price Again: $179 Unlocked, Still Including A Year Of Prime ($100 Value)

If you're a patient deal hunter and you wait long enough, Amazon might just end up paying you to take the Fire Phone off its hands. If not, the price is pretty good at the moment: $179 for the unlocked 32GB model, without a contract to be seen. That's $10 down from where it was just a little more than a month ago, $270 off the original price, and a pretty awesome deal for a phone with a 4.7-inch 720p screen, a Snapdragon 800 processor, and 2GB of RAM... if you can stomach Amazon's Fire OS fork of Android.
