"It isn't a real smartphone leak until we see press renders of the device by Evan Blass," that's how the saying goes, doesn't it? Well, Evan has tweeted an image of what seems to be the Galaxy Note 5 posing with its pen, right next to the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.
The image confirms what we have already seen, more than once, of both devices. They'll have the same screen size, at 5.7" with a 2K resolution, and will likely be decked with an Exynos processor (though there's a rumor the S6 Edge Plus may run a Snapdragon), 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal memory on the lowest tier. If you thought that the golden HTC M8 seen yesterday was a bit ostentatious, then you'll be glad to hear that it probably isn't the only color option for "The New One." Evleaks (who posted the original gold press render) posted a second shot this morning, showing the new flagship phone in a much more typical dark gray color. There is still no official word on the M8, but it's expected at HTC's London/New York press event on March 25th. Read More
While photos of upcoming flagships from Samsung and other major manufacturers remain elusive, hardware leaks from HTC have been coming in steadily for the last few weeks. The latest and certainly greatest comes from the indefatigable Evleaks, who posted a full press photo/render of the HTC M8 earlier this morning. Evleaks says it will be called "The All New HTC One," foregoing any kind of sequel moniker.
The most striking thing about this press render is that the entire phone is colored gold, drawing indisputable comparisons to Apple's "champagne" iPhone 5s color option. Read More
