Harvest Moon: Mad Dash turns the farming sim into a casual puzzler, now available on the Play Store

Harvest Moon: Mad Dash turns the farming sim into a casual puzzler, now available on the Play Store

Out of nowhere, Natsume just released Harvest Moon: Mad Dash on the Google Play Store. Unlike the titles in the core Harvest Moon series, this release is not a farming simulator, at least not in the traditional sense. Harvest Moon: Mad Dash is actually a casual puzzle game that was released on consoles and PC at the tail end of 2019. While I had no doubt the title would eventually make its way to mobile, the fact that it was unceremoniously published on the Play Store this morning still came as a surprise.

Metroidvania Dandara gets Trials of Fear update, brings significant enhancements

Metroidvania Dandara gets Trials of Fear update, brings significant enhancements

Raw Fury has announced that its Metroidvania title Dandara has received a large content update today, and it's live on the Play Store. This update comes to the game free of charge, so if you already own the title, all you have to do is update it through the Play Store to see what's new. We already know that today's update brings with it new content to explore that's part of The Hidden Realms (which consists of three new areas), as well as a new boss fight, new powers, mechanics, and a new secret ending. New in-game descriptions, dialogues, and cutscenes have also been added to flesh out the game's story.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is one of the best Metroidvania games ever made, now available on Android

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is one of the best Metroidvania games ever made, now available on Android

Talk about a welcome surprise. Konami has silently released Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on the Google Play Store, and you can grab it today for $2.99. More importantly, this is a quality release that brings controller support, a new continue feature, content from the Sega Saturn version, and is displayed in the original 4:3 aspect ratio, so it's most likely a port of the PSP version. Really, the only thing that is missing from today's release is Nvidia Shield support.

Little Misfortune is a beautiful adventure game that's finally made its way from PC to Android

Little Misfortune is a beautiful adventure game that's finally made its way from PC to Android

Little Misfortune comes from Killmonday Games, the same developer behind Fran Bow, a popular episodic adventure game that contains a creepy atmosphere. Little Misfortune follows in Fran Bow's footsteps, as it's also a dark adventure game. Luckily, this time around the devs haven't broken up the title into separate releases on Android, which means Little Misfortune is a complete package, and you can pick it up today for $8.99.

Classic strategy RPG Disgaea 1 lands on the Play Store as a faithful remaster

Classic strategy RPG Disgaea 1 lands on the Play Store as a faithful remaster

Nippon Ichi Software has released its classic strategy RPG Disgaea 1 on the Google Play Store, seemingly out of nowhere. This new release goes by the name Disgaea 1 Complete, which means the title is indeed a remaster of the original Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Better yet, Disgaea 1 Complete is a premium release, which means there are no in-app purchases or advertisements included. Of course, since this is a premium remaster of a classic SRPG that contains hundreds of hours of gameplay, a premium price is also attached.

The White Door is a stylish point-and-click adventure game from the creators of the Cube Escape series

The White Door is a stylish point-and-click adventure game from the creators of the Cube Escape series

Rusty Lake is a developer best known for its Cube Escape and Rusty Lake series of point-and-click adventure games, though often, these titles offer a dark theme, which may not appeal to everyone. This is precisely why The White Door has drawn my attention. Much like its predecessors, it too is a point-and-click adventure game, but this time around the story and graphics are the primary focus, which makes this a game that's a little easier to pick up and play thanks to its streamlined split-screen gameplay that revolves around the title's mysterious narrative.

The Last Remnant Remastered is the latest RPG from Square Enix to arrive on Android, available today for $20

The Last Remnant Remastered is the latest RPG from Square Enix to arrive on Android, available today for $20

Square Enix has just surprised RPG fans by releasing The Last Remnant Remastered on Android and iOS for $19.99, hot off the heels of the releases for Romancing SaGa 3, and SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions. What strikes me as odd about today's lowkey launch is that Square Enix didn't announce the title in any shape or form for mobile (though a Nintendo Switch version was released this summer), and after the lukewarm reception for the two SaGa games mentioned above, I have to wonder if Square Enix's pricing for its mobile titles is starting to wear thin on fans and consumers alike.

Terraforming Mars is a new strategy board game from Asmodee Digital, now available on the Play Store

Terraforming Mars is a new strategy board game from Asmodee Digital, now available on the Play Store

Yesterday I covered Asmodee Digital's recent announcement that Terraforming Mars would be officially released on Android today. After a quick look at the Play Store this morning, the game is indeed available for purchase. You can pick it up today for $8.99, and this is a premium release, so there are no in-app purchases or advertisements included. Keep in mind, what you actually receive for $9 is the base board game, so the expansions that exist for the physical version are not included, which means the lack of IAPs may change in the future if these expansions ever make their way to the digital versions of the game.

GRID Autosport finally arrives on Android, and you can pick it up today for $10

Last week we learned that Feral Interactive's port of GRID Autosport would arrive on Android on November 26th, and the studio has indeed kept its word since the racer is finally available on the Google Play Store as of this morning. The title has existed on mobile since 2017 thanks to an iOS release, but today marks the first day that Android users can get in on the fun. As expected, GRID Autosport is a premium racing game, which means you can grab the entirety of the title today for $9.99.

Undead Horde is an enjoyable hack-and-slash game that just arrived on Android

Undead Horde is an enjoyable hack-and-slash game that just arrived on Android

10tons Ltd. is an indie publisher that is probably best known for publishing the titles Tesla vs Lovecraft and Neon Chrome on the Play Store. Today the latest game from the publisher has arrived on Android. This game is called Undead Horde, and it's a strategic hack-and-slash title that's been available on Steam since May, and it's been reviewed rather positively in the last six months. At its core, it's a necromantic action game that also contains RPG elements, and it will be your job to raise the dead to hack and slash your way to ruling over the world of the living.
