(Update: Official release December 11) Pearl Abyss will launch Black Desert Mobile globally on Android this year

Black Desert Mobile is an MMORPG that's already available on Android, though you can only download it off the Play Store if you live in Korea or Japan. Now that the developer Pearl Abyss has had some time to iron out a few kinks and find some success in the regions the game was launched, the studio has announced on Facebook that a global release will happen this year, which means an English version is expected to land on the Play Store sometime in the next eight months.

Ubisoft reveals Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos, a new strategy RPG, available for pre-registration

It's been a while since there have been any rumblings about Ubisoft's Might and Magic series, with Might and Magic: Elemental Guardians existing as the last entry on mobile that was released in 2017. Today a new contender has entered the ring, and it goes by the name Might & Magic Heroes: Era of Chaos. It's a strategic RPG where you'll restore the Kingdom of Erathia from Heroes of Might and Magic III, and it just popped up on the Play Store for pre-registration.

[Update: Now available] ROME: Total War - Alexander is coming to Android on October 24, and you can pre-reg right now

It would appear that Feral Interactive has been quite busy with its mobile ports for the ROME: Total War series. Back in December of 2018 ROME: Total War was released on the Play Store, and then in June 2019 the standalone expansion ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion arrived. As of this morning, the second standalone expansion ROME: Total War - Alexander made its way to the Play Store as a pre-registration listing, and thanks to a recent press release, we know that the game will be officially available for purchase on October 24th for $4.99.

American Dad! Apocalypse Soon is a freshly announced strategy game from My.com B.V. that's coming to Android this fall. The game suspiciously looks a lot like Fallout Shelter, but instead of searching out new survivors, you'll have to clone Rodger in an effort to form an army large enough to manage your household and save the world. Apocalypse Soon is already available on the Play Store for pre-registration, and if enough people pre-register, they may unlock a few rewards.

[Update: Out now] Bad North is a beautiful RTS coming to Android this month, and you can pre-register right now

Raw Fury has just revealed that Plausible Concept's indie RTS roguelike Bad North is coming to Android on October 15th, and as of this morning, the title is already available on the Play Store for pre-registration. This announcement comes hot off the heels of the Nintendo Switch release in August, and we can expect to receive the complete Jotunn Edition that brings with it new items, commander traits, and enemies. It will be your job to defend an island kingdom against a horde of Viking invaders by taking command of the island's inhabitants in order to control the broad strokes of each procedurally generated battle, and so far PC and console reviews have remained positive since the initial release.
