Indie adventure game Summer Catchers is finally coming to Android, pre-reg now available

It has just come to my attention that FaceIT's stylish indie adventure game Summer Catchers is finally available for pre-registration on the Play Store. Back in July of 2019, the game was published on Steam by Noodlecake Studios and has racked up many positive reviews on the platform over the last six months. The game plays like an auto-runner, though it also offers a story-driven experience, so expect something a lot more polished than the standard auto-runners on the Play Store.

Game of Thrones Beyond the Wall is a new collection-based strategy RPG that's coming to Android this summer, and it's already available on the Play Store for pre-registration. Player's will take command of the Night's Watch to defend Westeros by collecting notable characters that will be useful in the game's strategic battles. G.I. Joe: War On Cobra is the latest collection-based strategy game to arrive on the Play Store (Update)

D3 Go! has announced today that its next mobile game is called G.I. Joe: War On Cobra, and it will be officially launched on Android on January 20th. The title is already available for pre-registration on the Play Store, and for the most part, it would seem that this will exist as a branded release that contains the same amalgamation of gameplay mobile gaming is best known for. So if you're looking to play yet another gacha game that's betting on '80s nostalgia to get people interested in a title built around the same shallow card-based strategy mechanics we've all experienced over and over again, I suppose G.I.

Dragon Quest of the Stars is coming to the West (Update: Pre-reg now available, official release Feb. 25)

Square Enix just announced that its free-to-play role-playing game Dragon Quest of the Stars will come to the West in early 2020. On top of this announcement, the developer has stated that starting today mobile gamers in select regions can register to participate in a closed beta test for the Android version of the game. Supposedly this is a "critically acclaimed" title in Japan that's racked up over 20-million installs, though, from the looks of it, the game is a casual RPG with a popular brand slapped on top.

League of Legends strategy spinoff Teamfight Tactics now available for pre-reg on Android (Update: Coming mid-March)

Riot Games (the creators of League of Legends) recently announced three new games for mobile and consoles. I've already covered the announcement for the MOBA League of Legends: Wild Rift, and in this article I'll be talking about Teamfight Tactics: League of Legends Strategy Game, a PvP auto-battler where you'll you’ll draft, deploy, and upgrade from a revolving roster of League of Legends champions. Essentially, it's an auto-chess game. This standalone mobile title should mirror the auto-battle mode found in the PC version of LoL, and cross-platform play is expected between PC and mobile.

Ubisoft jumps into the auto battle genre with Might & Magic: Chess Royale, now available for pre-reg

Early this morning, Might & Magic: Chess Royale popped up on the Google Play Store for pre-registration, and upon closer inspection, it would appear that this is a title designed to offer large 100-player clashes in the latest take on the auto battle genre, also known as auto chess. Clearly, Ubisoft is keen to get in on the growing auto chess trend, and so has slapped a Might & Magic skin on top of its upcoming auto battler to squeeze out as much nostalgia from the brand as possible.

Black Desert Mobile is an MMORPG that's already available on Android, though you can only download it off the Play Store if you live in Korea or Japan.
