Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier is one of two Final Fantasy VII mobile games Square had announced back in February. This particular game is a battle royale, and it just entered into pre-registration on the Play Store. Those who chose to pre-reg are throwing their hat in the ring for access to an upcoming closed beta test planned for June 1st. So if you're eager to see how Square can capitalize on the battle royale trend, then you'll probably want to check out today's fresh pre-reg listing.
It's been a while since we've heard about the upcoming release for RuneScape on mobile, three years in fact. Until now, members who have been actively paying for a RuneScape subscription have been able to test the mobile beta, but now it would appear that Jagex is finally ready to release the game to the masses. As of this afternoon, interested parties can pre-register for the MMO on the Google Play Store. Depending on how many people register, there will be varying exclusive in-game rewards.
Square Enix recently revealed that the classic PS1-era RPG SaGa Frontier is coming to a plethora of platforms as a remaster in the summer of 2021. The game is slated for a release on Android, as well as the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and iOS, and that's about all of the information Square currently has to offer. Luckily the developer has released an announcement trailer, and so far, things are looking pretty good.
Square Enix revealed Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero's Bonds last year, but at the time, the game was only slated for a Japanese release. As of this morning, we now know the game is coming to the West with an English translation in tow. If you haven't had enough PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds in your life, I have some good news, there's a new PUBG game coming to mobile, and it's called PUBG: New State. It's coming to Android and iOS this year, and supposedly it will offer an exclusive map, ultra-realistic graphics, and it should be optimized from the ground up for mobile play.
Square Enix has announced that its free-to-play collection-based tactical RPG Dragon Quest Tact will be coming to the West on both Android and iOS. Back in February (2020), Square announced the game for Japan, and it would appear it was launched in July (2020) and has already racked up 500,000 installs. I suppose this success is the reason the game will soon come to new territories. While the English version isn't slated for a release until 2021, it's already available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store.
Aspyr Media and Lucasfilm have just announced that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II – The Sith Lords is coming to Android and iOS this month. As a matter of fact, the game is slated for release on the 18th of December (only ten days away), and you'll be able to pick it up for $14.99. Seeing that the original Star Wars: KotOR has been available on Android since 2014, it's definitely fantastic to learn that the sequel is finally coming to the platform.
Rayark International is a developer that's best known for its rhythm games, such as Cytus, though the DEEMO series is also pretty popular. While we've known that the sequel DEEMO II would be coming to Android since May (2020), it would appear the Rayark has also remastered the original title to create DEEMO Reborn, which has been available on Steam since September (2020). This remaster replaces the original's 2D graphics with new 3D designs in order to create a much more immersive title, and as of today, this remaster has landed on the Play Store for pre-registration.
