League of Legends strategy spinoff Teamfight Tactics now available on Android (Updated)

Riot Games (the creators of League of Legends) recently announced three new games for mobile and consoles. I've already covered the announcement for the MOBA League of Legends: Wild Rift, and in this article I'll be talking about Teamfight Tactics: League of Legends Strategy Game, a PvP auto-battler where you'll you’ll draft, deploy, and upgrade from a revolving roster of League of Legends champions. Essentially, it's an auto-chess game. This standalone mobile title should mirror the auto-battle mode found in the PC version of LoL, and cross-platform play is expected between PC and mobile.

Sky: Children of the Light is coming to Android, and you can pre-register right now (Update: Arriving in April)

Sky: Children of the Light comes from Thatgamecompany, the same developer behind the critically-acclaimed titles Journey, Flower, and Flow. Sky offers an experience closest to that of Journey, where the player gets to explore a beautiful world in an effort to discover an evolving story that's told through meditative puzzle-based gameplay. Unlike Journey, Sky is a title that was built to focus more on a multiplayer aesthetic where players can easily team up with friends and strangers to journey through the world together while solving the game's many puzzles. Sky: Children landed on iOS at the tail end of last week, but it is also coming to Android sometime in the future, and you can pre-register on the Play Store right now.

LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed is a F2P collect-a-thon RPG, now available on the Play Store (Update)

For some reason, LEGO has been busy this year lending out its brand to nefarious developers. Last week LEGO Star Wars Battles was announced, and it appears to be a free-to-play Clash Royale clone from Warner Bros. Today Gameloft's LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed arrived on the Play Store for pre-registration, and it looks like a MARVEL Strike Force clone. Before this year, LEGO usually concentrated its efforts on quality games offered for free to advertise its brand, but now it would seem that the company is perfectly comfortable sullying its namesake to earn a quick buck off of the children that enjoy its toyline.

Romancing SaGa Re;UniverSe is coming to Android summer 2020, pre-reg now available

Much like Dragon Quest of the Stars (coincidentally released today), Romancing SaGa Re;UniverSe is an older gacha RPG that's coming to the West. You see, Square Enix actually released Romancing SaGa Re;UniverSe in Japan back in 2018, and apparently the title is coming to the West with an English translation in tow sometime this summer, and guess what, this English version just landed on the Play Store as a pre-registration listing.

Indie adventure game Summer Catchers is finally coming to Android (Update: Out now)

It has just come to my attention that FaceIT's stylish indie adventure game Summer Catchers is finally available for pre-registration on the Play Store. Back in July of 2019, the game was published on Steam by Noodlecake Studios and has racked up many positive reviews on the platform over the last six months. The game plays like an auto-runner, though it also offers a story-driven experience, so expect something a lot more polished than the standard auto-runners on the Play Store.
