The developer beta for Samsung One UI 3 — based on Android 11 — is rolling out in Korea

Samsung may have tainted its name forever with the bleepity bloops of Touchwiz, but these days the company's One UI skin is much more acceptable. One UI 2.5 is the latest major release of the Android skin, but Samsung has been accepting applications for testing the next iteration, One UI 3, in a pre-beta phase with developers. With the release of Android 11 yesterday, the company has now released the pre-beta to developers.

CyanogenMod 7 Pre-Beta Released For Motorola Atrix

There is good news for Motorola Atrix users with a penchant for rooting and modding as the CyanogenMod Atrix Developers Team has just released a pre-beta of CM7.

User graemegb posted on the XDA Developers Forum yesterday with links to a post on ModMyMobile.com which had download links for the CM7 pre-beta and the accompanying Google Apps package.

According to the post the following components are working with the current pre-beta release:

  • 2G/3G/H+
  • Calls and SMS
  • Wi-Fi
  • Audio
  • USB
  • GPS
  • Display
  • Touchscreen
  • Battery stats
  • Proximity sensor
  • Screen orientation
  • Internal storage and external SD card
  • Multimedia playback (videos, music)

Unfortunately, the Bluetooth and camera are currently not working, in addition to “everything else that wasn't included in the [above] working list”.

[Updated: Screens, Hands-On, Official Beta Tomorrow] TweetDeck For Android Beta v0.9 Leaks Online - Download And Try It Now

The long-awaited TweetDeck beta (or pre-beta) that we knew was coming this week got leaked online today, after someone very diligent found a direct link to it on TweetDeck's own site. The link is no longer working, but not without a bunch of people grabbing a copy first and uploading it to a multitude of mirror sites.

I had the pleasure of demoing an early version of the software at Google I/O and was highly impressed. I do believe TweetDeck has a very good chance to become the best Social client on Android.

Remember: this is a beta, a pre-beta even, so it will be buggy.
