OnePlus and PUBG Mobile are teaming up to offer exclusive in-game 90Hz support on the current lineup of OP devices. This exclusive access will run from August 6th to September 6th and is available to OP users worldwide. Of course, you'll have to be sporting a current OP device that offers 90Hz support, to begin with, which is why the OnePlus 8, OnePlus 8 Pro, OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T T-Mobile Version, OnePlus 7T Pro 5G McLaren, or an OnePlus 7 Pro are required. So if you'd like to check out PUBG Mobile in 90 FPS glory, you can on the current crop of OnePlus phones.
PUBG Mobile appears to be on a monthly update cycle, and since we received the 0.14.0 update on August 14th, it makes sense that 0.14.5 would drop this week. While it would still appear that 0.14.5 has yet to be pushed out to the Play Store, a recent tweet clearly states that we can expect the update in the afternoon. This announcement also signals the start of Royale Pass Season 9, and of course, a few new additions are in tow, including a new season timer, redesigned missions/ranking pages, and an upgraded Royale Pass sharing page.
It's been almost a month since the 0.13.5 update for PUBG Mobile dropped on the Play Store, and today it would appear that the 0.14.0 update is here. PUBG Mobile's Play Store listing was recently updated with a new changelog that stipulates a few of the more important additions coming with today's update. The highlight is, of course, the new Infection mode and map that brings along playable zombies, but you can also expect to find a new pirate theme in the menu, as well as some improvements to the character and mission systems.
In June we received the 0.13.0 patch for PUBG Mobile, and now that a month has rolled by, it's time again for yet another update. The version number will be bumped to 0.13.5, and while the update does not appear to be live in the US just yet, it should land on the Play Store by the end of the day. This version update also signals the start Season 8, which should begin in the next day or two, though if you're interested in the majority of changes that come with the .5 version bump, make sure to click the read more button to check out these details in full.
The latest iteration of PUBG Mobile has officially landed on the Google Play Store. It would appear that theseupdates are released on a two-month schedule, and so it's time to check out version 0.13.0. The most notable change that comes with this version bump is the addition of a new team deathmatch mode, but of course, there's a lot more additional content to go over, which I will detail below.
Back in February, the 0.11.0 update dropped for PUBG Mobile, and it signaled the start of a new crossover event with Resident Evil 2 called Survive Till Dawn. Well, now that two months have passed, update 0.12.0 should be landing sometime today, and it revamps the Survive Till Dawn mode as well as brings along an all-new zombie-filled survival mode called Darkest Night.
The Times of India is reporting that last Friday, police in Urbannagar in the Rakhial area of Ahmedabad (a city in India) arrested a twenty-year-old for the perverse and twisted crime of playing PUBG. Apparently, the city banned the game as of last Wednesday. In fact, three more people were arrested in there for the same crime just later that day, and two other people were arrested two days earlier on Wednesday for playing PUBG in the city of Rajkot.
