In a surprising twist, it appears Google may have accidentally let slip the date that the Pixel 3 is set to be formally revealed. Brandon Lee of This is Tech Today—who also makes videos for Android Police—has spotted an ad posted by Google on its own Famebit site that implies the phone is going to be formally revealed on or by October 4th.

Every month or so, an update to ARCore rolls out to add the augmented reality framework to a whole new set of phones, tablets... and now Chromebooks? Yes, the first Chrome OS device has been found among the list of profiles included in the ARCore APK, and that is the recently released Acer Chromebook Tab 10. Pixel 3 factory CAD renders give 360-degree look at what might be Google's next phones

Every passing day (and new Android P build) brings us a bit closer to Google's next Pixel. Earlier this month we got to see a few photos of what looks like a real Pixel 3 XL in the wild, and just a bit later our friends at 9to5Google spotted some fun concept renders that tried to approximate that look with a few different colors. [Update: More images from all angles] Is this the Pixel 3 XL? Two photos of what sure looks like Google's next phone

Did Google's next smartphone just get outed on a random XDA Forums post? Because that's sure what it looks like just happened. Two images were posted on XDA last night, and well, they do line up with what we know about the Pixel 3 XL so far. The front is a pretty dead-on match for that screen protector leak, and the rear definitely looks like a subtle evolution of the existing phone's design. There appears to be a new sensor to the right of the rear camera module, and the flash has been pushed out slightly to accommodate it.

Blueline and Bonito codenames revealed for upcoming Google devices

Google likes naming phones after fish, and according to a look we took at the recently released version of the new standalone Lens app, There's a new fish/phone named "Blueline" that Google may be planning. According to another leak, "Bonito" may be the name for Google's upcoming Snapdragon 710-powered device.

Google's Pixel 3 could use the same manufacturer as the iPhone (also, there's a notch)

Since days of yore, Google has worked with other OEMs to build its phones. The first set of Pixels was manufactured by HTC; the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, HTC and LG, respectively — not to mention the entire Nexus line. That's seemingly set to change with this year's pair, though: Google could be partnering with iPhone-building Taiwanese firm Foxconn to manufacture the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

Alleged Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL glass screen protectors leak with notch and unusual sensor cutouts

The Pixel 3 and 3 XL are due later this year, but there haven't been any leaks yet. While there still aren't any leaks of the actual phones, a new image depicts what appear to be screen protectors for the upcoming Pixel phones. The XL is notch city, but both covers have some odd cutouts for sensors and/or cameras.
