Samsung has given its folding phone customers perks like golf discounts and Michelin-starred deserts, but this summer, the non-folding hoi polloi can also enjoy some Galaxy-owning benefits. On June 21st, anyone with a Galaxy device can snag a 3-month YouTube Premium subscription, a $5 voucher for Uber Eats, a $5 Twitch gift card, and a three-month Billboard Pro membership, plus a new referral program for the Galaxy S21 that gets you a Galaxy Watch 3 discount, and a handful of smaller perks.
Chromebook ownership comes with a few great perks, like Android app support, quick and easy cloud storage, and low hardware prices. But there are other benefits Google provides to make getting a Chromebook even more appealing, like free apps, and games. These perks can change over time, and Google is giving Chromebook owners two new games for free: House of Da Vinci and Project High-rise, together a $9 value.
Google has been offering free perks to Chromebook owners for a while now. These perks have ranged from access to free games to access to streaming services like Disney+ or even Stadia. The latest perk added to the growing list is a free copy of Dead Cells, a fantastic indie metroidvania game that would usually run everyone $8.99 on the Play Store. This perk will be available until August 7th, 2021, providing everyone ample opportunity to grab one of the best platformers available on Chrome OS and Android.

But on top of all those implicit benefits are a handful of external perks Google provides in a constantly-changing selection — free stuff like apps, games, and Drive storage space. Chromebook owners will now be able to snag Doom, Doom II, and The Elder Scrolls: Legends Fall of the Dark Brotherhood expansion, though these offers aren't working for everyone.
There's been a renewed push of late from the Google Maps team to get more people signing up as Local Guides and submitting reviews of restaurants and bars and so on. Earlier this month points given out for user reviews were doubled. Google clearly wants existing guides to be more active too and is offering a new movie ticket perk to sweeten the deal.
Late last night, the latest version of Google Maps began rolling out through the beta channel. For many people, this will likely bring new notifications with convenient shortcuts to local area transit maps. There are also signs that Google is adding integration with bicycle sharing services, a vague hint of new activity around speed limits, and possibly some new perks for Local Guides.
Samsung is already running circles around all of the other manufacturers shipping Android devices, and while we can come up with many reasons to pick up one the company's products, Sammy's steadily dishing out more. If you register your brand new Galaxy Tab or Galaxy Note tablet, Samsung will give you over 0 in perks. This is a $200 increase over their previous offer, and they've added additional products including Audible, SiriusXM, and Zinio. The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 launched with most of these perks, but now they've been distributed across Samsung's broader range of tablets.
