It's been two months since PUBG Mobile received its last update, and today marks the launch of patch 1.6. As expected with each patch, 1.6 offers new content, new tweaks, new bug fixes, and plenty more. There's a fresh mode called Flora Menace, where players will have to survive an alien plant invasion. Plus, quite a few maps and modes are making a return. There's also a new social feature debuting today that should make it easier to view and share player stats, and month three of the Royale Pass will begin to roll out soon, starting on the 17th.
It's been two months, but it would appear that it's time once again to check out the latest patch for PUBG Mobile. Tomorrow marks the release for patch 1.5, and it brings with it a host of changes, including a new design for Erangel that revolves around futuristic tech, and so Tesla (the car company) has managed to sneak its way into this new high-tech theme, which is why a Tesla Gigafactory is part of the fresh redesign for Erangel. On top of this, players can expect new firearms, a new vehicle, as well as a change to the Royale Pass that will award players faster.
Typically new PUBG expansions drop near the beginning of the month, and so patch 0.19.0 is officially available starting today. What's unique about this release is that it marks the first time the game has been updated without taking the servers offline in order to ensure a better gaming experience for players, which is nice to see. Beyond the new method to push updates, players can expect to find an all-new Nordic-style map Livik, a map-exclusive vehicle, and two new map-exclusive firearms. It's also clear that PUBG Corporation is continuing the prep work for the launch of season 14 on July 14th.
It's been a while since we've covered a new Minecraft patch, but it would appear the launch of the 1.16.0 Nether update is a big one. Four new Nether biomes have been introduced to the game, along with a new block material Netherite, not to mention a few new enemies. There's also new story content, plus you can expect to discover some fresh music as you explore the new areas in the Nether. As you can see, the Nether update brings many welcome changes, and you can jump in right now since Minecraft's latest update is already live on the Play Store.
It looks like PUBG Corporation skipped patch 0.17.5, but 0.18.0 is here as of this morning, and it brings with it more than a few changes and additions. The primary focus this month is the release of Mad Miramar, an update to the Classic Miramar map that adds refreshed graphics and a bunch of new zones, not to mention, sandstorms. The P90 makes its first appearance in the Arena Mode, and new cheat detection has been implemented. We also know EvoGround is slated to receive a new mode sometime soon, and new Classic Mode Content should be coming soon as well, along with the launch of Royale Pass Season 13 on May 13th.
We last talked about PUBG Mobile when the 0.16.5 patch landed in January, and so it would appear that the month of February was completely skipped now that patch 0.17.0 is here at the beginning of March. As expected, this is an unorganized update, even worse than previous months, since the majority of content advertised in this patch won't actually go live today. Season 12 does not start until March 9th, and the Amusement Park Mode in Classic Erangel won't arrive until March 12th. There's also some type of Artic Mode coming too, but a date hasn't even been provided for that.
Now that January has been officially underway for a week, it's time once again to check out the latest monthly update for PUBG Mobile. Patch 0.16.5 brings with it some notable additions, including the start of Royale Pass Season 11 (starting tomorrow 1/10), but you can also expect to find a new Domination game mode, a new Arena map, as well as a new vehicle. It's also worth noting that those that update between January 9th and the 15th will receive 20 Silver, 2,000 BP, and 1 Blue Glider Trail.
December signals that it's time again for another monthly PUBG Mobile update. Now that the 0.16.0 patch for PUBG Mobile is here, you may be wondering exactly what this update brings. Well, first off, there is a new EvoGround mode called RageGear, and it brings with it a new EvoGround Loadout feature. Players can also expect to find some new Classic modes, such as Snow Paradise. Of course, there are many more additions that come with today's update, so if you'd like to view the full changelog, hit that read more button.
A little under a month ago, I covered the 0.15.0 update for PUBG Mobile, and once again, it's time to pore over the latest changes in the PUBG Mobile update coming to Android today. This point release signals the start of Royal Pass Season 10. There's also a new Team Deathmatch map called Ruins, and new weapons and vehicles are also included. You can also expect a new character to launch soon, though no date has been provided, so your guess is as good as mine as to when we can expect this character to go live.
Last month I covered the release of the 0.14.5 update for PUBG Mobile, and it appears it's time once again to pore through the latest patch. The 0.15.0 update brings with it a new Payload mode (though it's not live yet), an update to the Survive Till Dawn - Halloween mode, as well as enhancements like a new mid-air leap, new vehicles, new weapons, exploding fuel drums, and performance enhancements. While I can't say this update is as monumental as Fortnite's latest Chapter release, it's understandable that you can't always expect huge changes to PUBG Mobile every month.
