T-Mobile's VoLTE rollout is continuing full steam ahead, and today, the Uncarrier is giving more customers access to it thanks to a new software update for LG's mammoth G Flex.
Beginning November 17, the LG G Flex will have a software update to Android KitKat 4.4.2/SWV20s that turn on VoLTE services via OTA over Wi-Fi in available VoLTE markets only. For devices not in VoLTE markets, the update will also be available via OTA via Wi-Fi or the LG Mobile Support Tool.
Update: Let us not forget the Galaxy Tab S 8.4. AT&T has updated that device this week as well, bumping it up to KOT49H.T707AUCU1ANJ5 after a 32MB download. As for the changes, they're a yawn.

T-Mobile has posted the changelog for an over-the-air update now rolling out to Xperia Z1s owners. The primary new feature is the inclusion of in-flight texting support. This way users can communicate with folks on the ground for free via Gogo thanks to a partnership T-Mobile debuted a couple months back.
This isn't all the OTA has to offer. The update will provide the Xperia Z1s with Wi-Fi calling enhancements, which are always a nice thing to see considering the carrier's reliance on Wi-Fi networks to complement its cellular network. Read More
Traditionally LG is one of the stragglers when it comes to updating its flagship devices to the newest Android OS versions. This time around, though, things appear to be different. Hot on the heels of Motorola's Lollipop soak test for the 2014 Moto X (which should lead to an official update in short order), LG has announced that it will begin rolling out Android's newest flavor to its G3 phone this week. A new build of CyanogenMod 11S for the OnePlus One is ready, so it's time for some fixes to another batch of awful bugs that you wouldn't expect any modern phone to ship with in such large numbers. Many of these problems should fade away following this over-the-air update. Here's the provided list of changes folks can expect within the 44S build:

- Updated touchscreen firmware

Since launch, some OnePlus One owners have encountered issues with the phone's touchscreen. The complaints center around the display being unresponsive, causing it to miss certain touches and provide a generally frustrating typing experience. Sometimes it resulted in taps while dragging or swiping.
Now a firmware upgrade is in testing that takes care of this problem entirely. It's expected to go out to users soon in an upcoming over-the-air update.
