Amazon Android Days features big discounts on the entire OnePlus lineup
If you're dead set on a OnePlus phone, now's the time to buy
As part of Amazon’s Android Days event, a 48-hour flash sale dedicated to Android phones and accessories, most of the OnePlus phone lineup is currently discounted. OnePlus phones, especially the budget models, are usually well worth the normal asking price, and with extra discounts like this one, they become impossible-to-ignore deals that are just looking to make all your tech geek friends jealous.
Grab the already great value OnePlus Buds Z2 for $40 off
The sound of silence doesn't have to cost a lot
A couple of weeks back, I wrote an article recommending the OnePlus Buds Z2 when they were selling for $80 ($20 off MSRP). Most of the article praising the design, the active noise cancellation, and its other features still stands today and we'd still recommend it at its original price. However, there is one thing that has changed since, and that is the price of the OnePlus Buds Z2.
Block out the noise and grab a new pair of OnePlus Buds Z2 ANC wireless earbuds for $80
The legendary flagship killer company addresses the earbuds market
OnePlus, the company that got famous of the back of making incredible value smartphones, has been working on improving the quality and scope of its wireless earbuds offering. Not only that, they are using the same strategy they used to popularize their smartphones, making pretty good audio devices for lower prices than competitors. Today, the second iteration of OnePlus’s mid-range wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Z2, are on sale for $80 ($20 off).
OnePlus launched its 2022 flagship phone, the OnePlus 10 Pro, in China earlier this month, and should debut in international markets in the coming weeks. Before that, though, the company has launched another smartphone in India: The OnePlus 9RT. The phone was first announced in China in October last year, and it has taken a fair bit of time to make its way to one of OnePlus' key markets.
OnePlus typically releases a 'T' refresh of its flagship smartphones in late Q3 or early Q4 every year, though it decided against launching a 9T model in 2020. The company did release the OnePlus 9RT in China in October, but the phone never made its way to other markets. That's changing now as OnePlus is holding a "Winter Edition" virtual event on January 14 in India to launch the OnePlus 9RT and the Buds Z2.

Dolby Atmos and enduring battery life are on the list
Wireless earbuds. Not just wireless earbuds, but ones with active noise cancellation. You can't take a walk outside without having some rain down from the sky. Well, it seems that way, doesn't it? And it's not as if all of them seek to burn a hole your pocket with plenty hitting the $100 level lately. Chalk another up on the board with today's announcement of the OnePlus Buds Z2 — these new Bluetooth 5.2 earbuds walk the line between the $150 OnePlus Buds Pro and the $50 Buds Z, but don't skimp on value.
The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro were launched back in March this year. Along with this duo, the company also announced the affordable OnePlus 9R exclusively for the Indian market. Usually, OnePlus launches a mid-cycle flagship follow-up, but there's no 9T model this year. However, China did get a OnePlus 9RT instead, and it looks like this could be launched outside the country but with a different name.
OnePlus teases a very frustrating phone launch for next week
Along with a new pair of wireless earbuds
This time of year is usually when we’d be seeing leaks for an upcoming OnePlus flagship — typically a remixed version of whatever device had first arrived in the spring. However, we’ve known for a few weeks now that a potential OnePlus 9T is not meant to be, with the company focusing on its ColorOS and OxygenOS merge along with its already-existing smartphone lineup. The OnePlus 9RT is real, though, and thanks to a new teaser, we finally know when it’s arriving.
The next earbuds from OnePlus will probably look just like you'd expect
The Buds Z2 could launch as early as next month
Last year's OnePlus Buds Z came in at a super low price — fifty bucks! — and offered decent sound quality and a comfortable fit. As you'd probably expect with a price so low, they didn't include any advanced features. OnePlus added ANC and wireless charging to its premium Buds Pro, but at a pretty massive markup over the original pair. If you've had your eye out for some new affordable earbuds, the company's next pair might be a perfect match between price and performance.
