The OnePlus 9 series is now official, comprised of the flagship OnePlus 9 Pro and the smaller OnePlus 9. They're OnePlus' first phones of 2021, sporting era-appropriate specs we're all already intimately familiar with — everything leakers didn't expose, OnePlus slowly, painfully, incontinently dribbled out itself in the weeks leading up to today's announcement. With pre-orders starting now, I guess we can go back over it all again, though.
The OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will be unveiled on March 23, but of course, we might as well end up learning everything there is to know about the phones ahead of time thanks to leaks. The latest details to become public prematurely revolve around the colors. WinFuture snagged up a few renders of the OnePlus flagships, and some of the designs sure look familiar.
We’re still a few months away from the next OnePlus flagship launch, but that certainly hasn't deterred a sea of leaks from flowing out and giving away almost everything there is to know about the OnePlus 9. Joining the leak spree, PhoneArena recently published a bunch of photos of the standard OnePlus 9, giving us a better idea of what the final design will look like.
OnePlus is known for its tick-tock release cycle, pushing out new versions of each phone roughly every six months. Like it or hate it (personally, I love it), the company is reportedly bringing that schedule forward by nearly a month to push out its next series of flagship phones in March 2021.
