Google Play Movie Rentals Come To Germany, Hangouts On Air Spread Through Europe

One of the most common complaints against Google's Play Store is the lack of certain content or functionality in countries outside the US. Google has been making progress in expanding access to other corners of the globe, though. You may remember, for example, that Play Books hit France just last month after Play Movies opened for the French in March and for Spain in June.

Today, Google (finally) brought Play Movie rentals to Germany, much to the delight of German users who have been asking for more Play content for quite some time.

Sprint's Galaxy SIII And Galaxy Nexus Receive Minor Updates

Sprint customers using Samsung's Galaxy Nexus or Galaxy SIII should expect an OTA update to roll in any time now, bringing some enhancements and fixes that – while not entirely exciting – are worth picking up.

The Galaxy SIII update brings the device's software up to L710VPLG8, and includes a handful of improvements, including enhancements to Samsung's Smart Stay feature, voice recognition, and the addition of All-Share Cast support.

The Galaxy Nexus, meanwhile, will be bumped up to IMM76K.L700FG01.

We got a tip this morning for the official URL for Google Music, and we've been randomly checking it (read: mashing F5 constantly) since then. A few minutes ago, something amazing happened - it went live. Hit the link, request your invite, and patiently wait for it! GO!
