Reigns: Game of Thrones is out on Android

Back in August, we knew Reigns: Game of Thrones would be coming to Android in October, and it would appear the developer has stayed true to its  word. As of this morning, the latest entry in the swipe ‘em up series is available for purchase on the Google Play Store. You can expect to find all of your favorite characters from the hit TV show as you play out hundreds of potential storylines through the familiar card-based swiping gameplay of the Reigns series, all in your quest to secure your claim to the Iron Throne.

[Update: Now available for more devices] AntVentor is a gorgeous point and click adventure game for the Shield TV

Android games for the Shield TV aren't released very often at this point, so when something that looks as impressive as AntVentor crosses my path, I just have to take a look. Now that I've spent some time with it, it's clear that this photorealistic point and click adventure game is worth the asking price, and this is only the first chapter out of three planned episodes. So there's plenty more to come.

Professor Layton and the Curious Village brings its mind-bending puzzles to Android

Talk about a stacked Tuesday. First, a full HD port of Monster Hunter World Stories releases on the Play Store, and then Level-5 announces that Professor Layton and the Curious Village has been ported to Android, complete with an HD makeover, and it's also available on the Play Store starting today. There's already a couple of Layton games on Android, though this is the first to actually star Professor Layton. It's also the first game in the main series, so if you'd like to see where it all began, this is the title for you.

If you haven't yet heard about Pocket City, boy are you in for a treat. It's a premium single purchase simulation city-builder from Codebrew Games - a one-person indie studio from Toronto, Canada. The game puts you in the shoes of a new city mayor, and it's your job to strategically erect residential, commercial, and industrial zones, all while completing quests to gain XP and level up. If you are a fan of the classic SimCity PC games and are tired of all the nickel and diming free-to-play antics of the mobile gaming industry, you are going to want to give Pocket City a proper look as soon as possible.
