Dr. Mario is coming to Android this summer

Nintendo has announced that it's bringing its Dr. Mario franchise to Android and iOS in a partnership with LINE Corporation, a Tokyo-based developer of mobile games. It will be an action puzzle game titled Dr. Mario World, and it's slated for a global release (including Japan and the US) sometime this summer. It's going to be free to download, and it will include optional in-app purchases.

Nintendo's next mobile game Dragalia Lost will launch on September 27th

Back in April, we learned that Nintendo teamed up with Cygames to create a mobile action RPG called Dragalia Lost. At the time you could only pre-register for the title on the Japanese language website, but as of today there is now an English listing of the game on the Play Store, and you can pre-register for the upcoming release right now. Dragalia Lost is a brand new property, and it will be Nintendo's first original mobile game, which is kind of exciting. You can expect the official launch to take place on September 27th in the US, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau.

Nintendo hasn't released a new game on Android since Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp landed in November 2017. Well, I'm excited to report that I finally have some news on this front. Nintendo and Cygames have announced a new mobile RPG for Android. It's called Dragalia Lost Read. The initial release will take place in Asia this summer, and there should be a worldwide launch sometime after that.

Nintendo announces Mario Kart Tour coming to smartphones in fiscal year 2018

Nintendo has announced (as part of an investor call) plans for the release of Mario Kart Tour, the first Mario Kart game on smartphones, by the end of the next fiscal year. As is standard for Japanese companies, the fiscal year runs from April 1st to March 31st of the following year, meaning that Mario Kart Tour will grace the Play Store and Apple App Store by March 31st, 2019. Other than the logo, no information about the game was disclosed.
