Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel may have landed on Android later than other platforms, but seeing that the game has been available on the Play Store for the last two weeks, it would appear that it's time to kick off the very first post-launch event. The limited-time Xyz Festival brings with it special Duel instructions, a new solo mode, as well as a new Structure Deck. The event will run from February 17th until the 24th, and those who sign in during this event will be rewarded with extra Gems and a festival bonus.

Rocket League Sideswipe season 2 hero

Rocket League Sideswipe is a sidescrolling interpretation of the PC and console game, a slimmed-down affair perfect for mobile play. It landed on Android at the end of last year, and today marks the launch of its second season. Like all live service games, new seasons mean new content, and today Sideswipe fans can expect the addition of a casual playlist along with a new limited-time Volleyball mode that's replacing the Hoops mode. Thanks to today's patch, changes and fixes are also in the mix, including UI improvements, quick chat muting, and a few new accessibility options.

PUBG MOBILE 1.7 patch hero

It would appear the PUBG Mobile update cycle is now seeing patches land every two months, with the previous 1.6 patch arriving in September, and of course, the 1.7 patch is launching today. As expected, there are many changes introduced in the new 1.7 update, including the addition of Mirror Island. This is a floating island where players will take on the roles of characters from League of Legends’ official animated Netflix series Arcane, all to battle with other players as the secrets of Arcane are revealed. Beyond the new content, a few older modes are returning, and some combat changes/rebalancing is also in the mix.

It's been two months since PUBG Mobile received its last update, and today marks the launch of patch 1.6. As expected with each patch, 1.6 offers new content, new tweaks, new bug fixes, and plenty more. There's a fresh mode called Flora Menace, where players will have to survive an alien plant invasion. Plus, quite a few maps and modes are making a return. There's also a new social feature debuting today that should make it easier to view and share player stats, and month three of the Royale Pass will begin to roll out soon, starting on the 17th.

The latest patch for PUBG Mobile is now available

It's been two months, but it would appear that it's time once again to check out the latest patch for PUBG Mobile. Tomorrow marks the release for patch 1.5, and it brings with it a host of changes, including a new design for Erangel that revolves around futuristic tech, and so Tesla (the car company) has managed to sneak its way into this new high-tech theme, which is why a Tesla Gigafactory is part of the fresh redesign for Erangel. On top of this, players can expect new firearms, a new vehicle, as well as a change to the Royale Pass that will award players faster.

Surprisingly PUBG Corporation has managed to stick to a monthly release schedule for the last two months, and so it's time once again to see what the latest patch brings to Playerunknown's Battlegrounds Mobile. The update to 1.3 offers a new festival mode in celebration of the game's anniversary, a new chapter where you can choose to play undercover, a Mosin-Nagant sniper rifle, and plenty of map and performance improvements. Oh, and the next Royal Pass will begin later this month, so there isn't long to wait.

PUBG Corporation isn't one to stick to a rigid schedule when it comes to new patches, so we didn't see an update in December. Well, it looks as though the studio is possibly back to its old schedule for the time being since it just released patch 1.2 on the Play Store. As you would expect, new content is here for all to enjoy, such as the Runic Power Mode, where players will get to choose from three new skills that require special runes to power. Of course, new weapons, new options, and plenty of game improvements are in the mix as well, which I'll detail below.

PUBG Corporation has announced the arrival of patch 1.1, and this update brings with it a slew of changes, including a new Metro-themed crossover that offers a brand new game mode called Metro Royale. Players can also expect a new underground world to explore as well as Metro-themed rewards when season sixteen launches later this month. Of course, new maps, new gear, and tons of bug fixes are also included with today's free update to version 1.1, which I'll detail after the break.

Terraria update Journey's End comes to Android with new content and fixes

The mobile version of Terraria is now on v1.4

Terraria is an open-world sandbox survival game that arrived on PC back in 2011, which was then ported to Android in 2013. Since 2013 the game has often languished on mobile thanks to a lack of updates and controller support. Luckily both of these issues have been rectified in the last year or so, which is why Terraria just received the Journey's End update (v1.4) on the Play Store.

PUBG Mobile was initially released on Android in 2018, and over the last two years, the game has seen many updates and improvements, but it still hasn't reached version 1.0. Well, this will all change on September 8th. PUBG Corporation has just announced that a slew of improvements are coming with the update to version 1.0 this September. This is so the game will offer a smoother experience for eSports. You see, PUBG Mobile World League and the World Championship are going to be combined this November into one event called PUBG Mobile Global Championship (absolutely nothing confusing about that), which will offer a $2-million prize pool.

Typically new PUBG expansions drop near the beginning of the month, and so patch 0.19.0 is officially available starting today. What's unique about this release is that it marks the first time the game has been updated without taking the servers offline in order to ensure a better gaming experience for players, which is nice to see. Beyond the new method to push updates, players can expect to find an all-new Nordic-style map Livik, a map-exclusive vehicle, and two new map-exclusive firearms. It's also clear that PUBG Corporation is continuing the prep work for the launch of season 14 on July 14th.
