Spotify rolls out a better way to surface new music by artists you follow (Updated)

With over 50 million tracks available on its service and even more being released every day, Spotify surely has a problem in how good it is at helping you discover new music. The Discover Weekly and Release Radar playlists are sure nice, but the streaming giant is working on more. Social discovery and notifications from artists you're interested in could come soon, and so is a new Follow Feed for releases by artists you follow.

YouTube Music's expanded New Releases section is rolling out widely

YouTube Music has had an official mix of new releases and showed you a few selected recent records in their own section since last year, but until now, you couldn't see more than ten new albums or singles there. With version 3.49 of the streaming service, first published mid-January, this has started to change for some lucky people who have seen a vastly expanded version of the new releases section. Judging from reports on Reddit, this refinement is rolling out widely now.
