There are a lot of fun 3D objects like skeletons, cars, planets, and animals you can view in Google Search, which might be perfect to pass the time while you and your kids are stuck at home. The underlying technology enabling this is called Google Play Services for AR, formerly known as ARCore. It's an engine that powers most games and applications on Android that use augmented reality effects. However, since the framework has to be tuned for each device, Google has to periodically update Play Services to support new phones and tablets. Since the last time we covered the library, 42 more devices have been added to the roster.

Motorola's One Hyper hasn't been on the market long at all, but we've already found a chance to pick one up with a pretty decent discount, courtesy of the manufacturer's website. While this phone may not have cutting edge specs, it offers seriously spacious storage and a massive battery, especially considering its price point. Right now, you can get an unlocked Moto One Hyper in your choice of blue, red, or purple for only $299.99, saving you $100 off the MSRP.

The Motorola One Hyper hasn't been out for long, but Moto is already offering a pretty enticing deal on it — that is, if you've been looking to buy a Moto G6 or G6 Play as well. If you purchase a One Hyper for its sticker price of $399.99, Motorola will throw in a $249.99 MSRP Moto G6 or Moto G6 Play at no additional cost. Our own David got to check out the One Hyper last week and thought it was pretty reasonable value at $400. It's equipped with a 6.5" 1080p 19:9 display, a Snapdragon 675, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of storage with microSD expansion, a 64MP + 8MP rear camera setup, a 32MP front-facing camera, and a 4,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It also has Android 10, a headphone jack, USB-C, and a splash-proof nano-coating.

The Moto One Hyper is the newest phone in Moto's rapidly growing lineup of "motorolaone" series smartphones, and unlike the other phones in the family, this one is a little more about specifications than edge case photography (though it does have a 64MP rear camera). The most striking thing about the Hyper is the notch: specifically, that there isn't one. This is Moto's first pop-up front-facing camera, and like the OnePlus 7 Pro, it gives the phone a clean, full-screen look.
