Motorola doesn't cater to the high-end market as much as it used to. Today it focuses on affordable smartphones instead, providing a huge range of wallet-friendly options. In addition to presenting the Motorola One Zoom during IFA 2019, the company also announced its latest E-series product, the Moto E6 Plus. Just like the E5 Plus before it, it's a minor upgrade over the regular E6 and is certainly the more powerful and premium-looking of the two, if you don't mind a notched display.

We saw the Moto E6 Plus leak just last week, and as expected, the device has become official at IFA. Motorola's newest budget smartphone might share most of its name with the recently launched Moto E6, but it's a very different phone. The display is bigger, it has more cameras, and it trades the Snapdragon chip for MediaTek.

Motorola was once the king of the budget Android smartphone but its influence has waned in recent years as Nokia and other Chinese competitors have offered increasingly stiff competition. The Moto E series can still offer value to consumers looking for the cheapest passable experience, and we now know what the upcoming Moto E6 Plus is going to look like.
