Motorola, Why Must You Torture Me With These Two Clear Shots Of The Perfectly Round Moto 360 Without The Flat Tire Look?

I think everyone knows by now that Motorola had to make a few sacrifices with the Moto 360, one of which I personally still notice every time I wear it - the flat tire look. The small blacked out area on the bottom of the watch contains the ambient sensor and a few other components that didn't fit elsewhere in this design, at least in the amount of time the company had to deliver the first iteration to consumers.

The Moto 360 is still in short supply, but Motorola is slowly working through the backlog of orders. If you haven't gotten your hands on the first round Android Wear smartwatch, it might look a little different when you finally get it on your wrist. The silver Moto 360 is now showing up with a lighter stone leather band. Meanwhile, the gray leather band is gone from Motorola's site.

Circuit Wear Watch Face For The Moto 360 Offers A Window Into The Anatomy Of Your Wristwatch

There are those who want to make their Moto 360 as elegant as possible. Some prefer to be a bit silly. But for those who want to demonstrate just how gutsy they can get, there's nothing like showing off the heart and soul of your gear. If this sounds like you, Circuit Wear for the Moto 360 might be your next watch face. What you're looking at is a photo of the circuit board lodged a mere couple of millimeters behind the screen, and it really is pretty neat.

The Moto 360 Display May Have A Problem With 'Image Persistence' From The Charging Screen

Motorola chose to go with an LCD panel for the Moto 360, which should mean no problems with burn-in like you'd see on an AMOLED. However, a few users have started reporting something that looks an awful lot like burn-in. What we're probably seeing is image persistence, which can sometimes happen to LCDs. While annoying, it's not as bad as AMOLED burn-in.

The Best Android Wear Watchface Yet Is A Tribute To The Ministry Of Silly Walks

Good day, readers. Here at Android Police, we wish to express our full and unequivocal support for the Ministry of Silly Walks, and the fine work that those men and women accomplish. It is a lamentable shame that the Ministry is continually overlooked in favor of less noble endeavors, such as National Defense, Housing, and Social Security. With a budget of only 348 million pounds per year, it's amazing that they manage to produce such instructive material as the official Ministry of Silly Walks Game.

Moto 360 Review: Better Than You Feared, Worse Than You Hoped

From the very first day Android Wear was in the news, the Moto 360 has been "the one to wait for." Every time we posted a story about the G Watch or the Gear Live, the comments were populated with no fewer than a million people declaring their intention to wait for Motorola's round smartwatch. Well, the wait was a bit longer than expected, but the Moto 360 has finally arrived.

[Weekend Poll] After Seeing Reviews And Initial Opinions, Are You More Or Less Interested In A Moto 360 Now?

While we haven't posted our own review yet, you may have seen Artem's numerous posts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) about his experience so far, and there's no shortage of reviews on the web at this point.

Most of them basically come down to this: the battery life is the worst of any Wear device (how bad varies on who you're asking, but ambient mode seems unusable as an all-day strategy), but the Moto 360 is still subjectively the best-looking Wear hardware yet.
