Back in April of last year, Ultimate Ears announced that its BLAST and MEGABLAST Bluetooth speakers would be receiving a number of features that they really should have come with out of the box. Nearly a year later, one of those features — grouping — has finally been added with an update to the BLAST companion app. Read More
The 'Megablast' speaker from Ultimate Ears is over a year old at this point, but it's still one of the best third-party Alexa speakers. It can play music over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and earlier this year, support for hands-free Alexa was added (so it functions just like an Echo/Echo Dot). Now it has dropped to $124.99 on Amazon — a reduction of $50 from the previous price of $174.99. Read More
Ultimate Ears' Megablast speaker, by all accounts, sounds great. It's pricey, though, at an MSRP of $299.99. Back in April, we saw it going for $190, which was its lowest-ever price up to that point. Right now, it's even cheaper than that: just $175 on Amazon. Read More
Right now on Amazon, you can get a great deal on an Ultimate Ears Megablast WiFi and Bluetooth speaker. On its own, the Megablast costs just $207, which is $93 less than the MSRP of $299. That's a significant saving, and it applies if you add the charging dock too. With it, the price is $247, adding $40 for the extra convenience. Read More
We published our review on Ultimate Ears' BLAST and MEGABLAST exactly one month ago today. They're good speakers overall, but they're not without their caveats. One of the most major issues we found is the price; $229.99 for the BLAST and $299.99 for the MEGABLAST, plus another $39.99 for the definitely-needed POWER UP dock, is a lot of dough for an imperfect product in this category. Today, however, Amazon has brought the BLAST and POWER UP bundle's price down to a much more palatable $179.99. There's a $60 discount on a MEGABLAST-POWER UP bundle as well. Read More
Those in the market for a Bluetooth speaker in the $100-200 range will surely have heard of Ultimate Ears for the company's popular BOOM 2 and MEGABOOM speakers. But if you're looking for a newer, more premium alternative, Logitech/Ultimate Ears has come out with the BLAST and MEGABLAST - not replacements for the BOOM series, but upmarket stablemates.
The main talking points of these two new speakers concern Alexa integration and superior sound. The $229.99 BLAST and $299.99 MEGABLAST sound very good, and they can get seriously loud when cranked all the way up. The charging dock is a nice touch, but it costs an extra $40. Read More

But if you were holding off on buying a BOOM or MEGABOOM because they don't have Amazon Alexa integration or WiFi and you maybe want some better sound, UE has the solution for you: the new BLAST and MEGABLAST.
