That's the case with the May security update, which is already rolling out to several devices, with new features coming to select flagships.

OnePlus has a pretty mixed reputation for updating all but its newest phones, usually returning once every couple of months with a recent security patch in tow. The company pushed out new software to several of its legacy devices last week, and it's now back to give some attention to the OnePlus 8, 8 Pro, and 8T.

- Turns out, this update also re-enables the color filter camera and its Photochrom mode, though the changelog doesn't mention that.
It was a bit strange seeing OnePlus roll out its latest May security patch to the older 6 and 7 series phones before the newer 8 and 8 Pro. About a week after that release, the two 2020 flagships are being bumped to the same security level as part of an OxygenOS update that also brings a (really) lengthy list of fixes and additions.
Earlier this month, the Moto 360 and Moto 360 Sport started getting an update with May's security patches and a couple of Moto Body improvements, while other Wear watches got just the new security updates. And given that almost none of the other manufacturers share their update's details, we didn't know if anything else had changed in their software along with that.
